- Tighnari is a welcome addition to my F2Pgod account, and I think he is doing better than expected! I am glad I got him from the standard banner, and that I saved my wishes and pity for Nahida!

He’s shockingly good. And his playstyle is really fast and snappy. It’s pretty fun
i suck at building in genshin or getting good artifacts and he still feels pretty strong i aint gone lie i got him right before fight raidenin the story quest and lvl him to 70 and he was the only reason i was able to be raiden in the story quest

Not sure why Mtashed says he needs more Electro. Quicken stays on target for a long time and then Tighnari just does Spread forever. Also Fischl is almost 100% Electro applier.
I guess some of Zhongli's pillars remove Electro from targets and that's the issue?

@@Gennosuke1983 zhonglis pillars proc crystalize so oftentimes they eat up electro auras , and fischl aoe is non existent so thats why i reccomend to use sucrose in tighnra teams, aoe electro, em share, cc and vv shred for fischl
Some useful tip for tighnari. You can start a fight by using his skill first and then swapping to other characters to the the setup. After you swap back to tighnari you can still use the three instant charge attack and use his skill again.
Keqing is such a nice supplement to this playstyle of his. An E from him, swap/burst to Keqing, then swap back for a catk and burst, is just insane. Slot in fischl a4’s and an anemo shredder like Jean, Prototype amber Sucrose, or Sayu (for heal/shred consolidation) and you’re gold
This depends. I will say the most efficient way to use him and have everything line up with everyone’s skills is to run him with Raiden Zhongli and DMC. Raiden skill, then DMC skill, then tighnari skill-> 5 charged shots. The burst rotation for that team is even better too. Everything dies so fast. And that’s only at C0 for all the characters
Yes, that makes total sense. Just like how you go Ganyu --> Kazuha --> Kokomi if doing freeze so that ice gets the buff and Ganyu hits harder when you switch back.

@@Tytani Gilded, Memory of Woods or Wanderer are all good choices, depending on how much flexibility you want to have, as long as you provide Tighnari with EM ( 200-300 as base value).
I literally wished for Tighnari just because i liked his character design and he ended up exceeding my expectations in terms of performance! I have been lowkey maining him for weeks.

The way my smile faded
Rolled for c2 tighnari from his banner even knowing he would be on standard. My absolute favorite character in the entire game, he’s very fun to play and feels super snappy, you can also front load his damage by popping his E, then doing stuff with your other characters before you switch back to and use his 3 E charge shots right before the 12 seconds end and you can do 6 spread charge shots in literally 4 seconds. It’s insane.

I wish he’ll discover how good Keqing x Tighnari is. Their quickswap elemental burst potential and their onfield options that also do not require too much time to deal damage is just an insane combo
Yeah I use tighnari with keqing infusing venti ult with electro and then burst all the mobs down with spread/aggra dps

@@Vekcrazah I’m currently building a bow for fischl but I don’t like her that much so she only gets put into the party on rare occasions. Especially in the abyss when I need a healer.
Keqing just feels so incredibly good now. Even before quicken she didn't have energy problems and now her electro application is goated. Talk about a glow up hot damn.
Idk... Keqing wants to steal onfield time, might as well Beidou since her Burst applies on Tighnari charged attack.

On the Cyno banner, I got both Cyno AND Tighnari. It was a shock. I'm having fun building him!!
Kuki was made with dendro reactions in mind, specifically hyperbloom. It is insanely fun with her and you might even be able to get a pretty nutty aggravate build for her. Slam her full of em and just try to make as many dendro cores as possible for her to fling around
Unfortunately I don’t have him yet but his instant charge shots felt so nice when I played him in the tests, I hope I pull him from the standard or 50/50 soon he’s a great permanent 5 star maybe even the best one
Wished C0 on his limited banner because I really like his design and playstyle. Had some standard banner wishes saved, waited to 3.1 before pulling and now I got his C1. Have zero regrets on pulling for him. Primos well spent. He is genuinely fun to play with, hits hard and works with many different teams.
As a bonus he’s been great to explore Sumeru with. So many dendro bow puzzles (my collei is not build) AND he shows the local farming specialities on map. Huge help for my sanity when hunting scarabs for Cyno.
I got him on his banner and I don't regret it. Since then Ive got a lot of fun which makes me motivated to play Genshin like I did at around AR 50. As an AR60 it's pretty difficult to find character which makes fun in the long term. I already played too much of the older characters so he's actually a big win for everyone to pull for. Congratulations on all Tighnari havers🌻💚

I love tighnari, got him on my first 10 pull on his banner and never looked back. Also managed to get him to C1 as well which made him even better. Really like his character design as well.
if you want to fully maximize his dmg put on your supports deepwood and instructors set, i use tighnari (main dps, sara (buffer), kuki shinobu (healer and deepwood set and sapwood blade), and dendro traveller (instructor set and er weapon) and mu tighnari easily hits 100k per CA hes really fun as a main dps
Zhongli's geo reaction, crystallize, was getting rid some of the electro element in the enemies that's why it was preventing the quickened reaction from happening frequently.

Wasn't sure about him at first, but he's honestly so fun. I love the quickswap playstyle, and been using him in a Kazuha, Fischl, Tighnari, Zhongli comp. Kazuha cosplays as an electro character and zhongli rocks deepwood set.

The fact that he is this strong and is on the standard is super cool, I pulled for him on his banner and no regrets, he is hella strong and super fun to play.. try playing double dendro with Traveler +Raiden and Zhongli, to me is the comp that has given me the best results

You should, try this team (Tighnari, Kokomi, Traveler, Raiden shogun but EM Built) and against the new boss that's so annoying cuz he turns invisible, Tighnari's Burst makes him go visible again. (Just use his burst when he goes invisible)
I hope you consider getting Yae soon because she does work the best with Tighnari, imo.
edit: Ganyu and Tighnari are both great but you're right, he's more fun. They're both easy to build but he's easier to use. :)
I considered getting yae just for him but .. 4 charas in 1 patch is a lot for me. Essentially kuki and fischl are his best electro appliers but u could also build Lisa on thrilling tales with ER and EM to get the most out of her for the team (esp considering all these are 4 stars so very easy to get too)
He is definetly a cracked dps, I don't have hin but I would put him in high S tier, not quite in Ayaka/Ganyu/Hu Tao/Ayato tier but not far away fs.
Zhongli brings a lot of Value for Tignari, if you run on him the 4 piece Deepwood memories, you will hit Really hard. For those that tell that Zhongli steal reaction, once you get the Quicken aura, that's what really matters, especially on Fischl, that is a fast Electro applicator. You should try the Deepwood memories on Zhongli, it's pretty fun :)

@@jo0rd73 Hydro removes dendro thus removing quicken so Tighnari cant spread and Fischl cant aggrivate as much. Sure you can get hyperblooms from the seeds that hydro created, but its sub-optimal since no one is building full EM
Edit: additionally, since Geo doesnt react with dendro, it deosnt effect quicken. Geo removes electro, but that doesnt effect the quicken uptime.

Been watching some of your vids to catchup on all the characters I missed and general game state! I really appreciate your vid’s.. especially the one with the interview confirming no end game. Rough to hear, but also helped me to just chill and enjoy the game. I’m slowly getting through the crap ton of story I missed. Currently exploring enkonomiya!
Lisa Burst or Beidou Burst might help with more Electro applications, Lisa can shred DEF, and Beidou Burst proc with CA, also Beidou constellation shred Electro RES
My fav team so far for combat and exploration is Tighnari+Keqing+Kazuha+Kuki, they do a lot of damage and kuki keeps everyone alive and also does some good aggravates (i have her 62/101 and sometimes she crits for 7k each tic with kazuhas buff? without him around 3k)

I know this is unrelated but I found Cyno's burst being really strong if you've got the dendro traveler burst up, then yelan with elegy of the end for normal attack and EM buff and Zhongli for protection and even further defense shred, the team is insane with his already high aggravate multiplier, throw in hyperbloom dendro cores and constant hydro and dendro application and he's god currently atm
The fast snappy play-style seems more fun that ganyu. Plus the tracking!

with yae or another electro, the team is absolutely crazy, literally became my best performing team in a lot of situations, and i have so many good chars built
also it's faster and more fun if you quick fire instead of going aim-mode
The thing is, Nahida can actually do on field quite well also later, what Tighnari can do tho is the ranged engagement, if you use Venti, Fischl, Mona comp for example he's good as you can even just bait the enemy using his and Mona's E and never receive damage.

building new characters is really fun. i just got venti nilou and albedo across my 2 different server log ins.
Nahida can kinda do Tighnari job on field also, what Tighnari can differentiate in tho is the ranged engagement, if you use Venti, Fischl, Mona comp for example he's good as you can even just bait the enemy away from you by using his and Mona's E and never receive damage.
Nahida’s strength is that you can also use her off field. So, if you’re using them right, Tighnari can be your onfield dealer while Nahida be the off field supplemental damage. No need to mutually exclude each other

I got him on event banner and have been happy. I’ve been running electro mc, Mona, yanfei. And I’m only using the slingshot and doing great dmg

My current fave comp rn is Tighnari, Yae, Sucrose, and Zhongli. ITS SO MUCH FUN - Doesnt matter if u spread or aggravate, cuz either Tighnari or Yae will do TONS of dmg.
PLUS Yae has absolutely no downtime on electro application so you will ALWAYS do spread or aggravate. I know this acc is F2P but, if u enjoy Tighnari gameplay, try to get Yae!
He is really great. One of the strongest standard banner characters for sure.
Willingly pulled and spent money for Tighnari during his banner even if I lost to Mona. I have no regrets at all! Tighnari + Yae Miko is such a cracked team, they're carrying me through the abyss with no sweat. The thing I love the most about this pair is that you don't even have to use their burst at all. Just trust in their skill and you'll be fine.

@@chaosinfernoid9008 Zhongli and Fischl/Kazuha. I only use the burst to dodge heavy attacks but it’s not a technical part of my rotation. My rotation is clunky anyway so sometimes I just use the burst while waiting for the skill cooldown.

I use Kazuha , Zhongli and Baal with him. that makes it really strong cause of the shred resistance with zhongli and kazuha. baal is hitting every target with eletro so thats a good team imo

Another great thing ablut those tracking arrows is that they linger in place when abyss mages teleport and so when they reappear those fuckers immediately get hit.
I got him and his weapon super early on his banner and honestly I didn’t think I’d like him so much. I don’t like bows generally but his playstyle is so fun! I’ve been using him in the abyss and exploration team since I got him
Tighnari is a really damn valuable character. Run him with fishl and traveler and a shield and he is unbelievable. I have a mid invest set for him and he hits multiple 22k hits.

Tighnari is really good and because he's now a standard banner 5 star you will eventually get constellations for him, so you will have a chance to make him stronger when you lose 50/50 or with standard wishes.

Honestly he's actually very strong for me. due to his playstyle he doesn't drop down in terms of DPS, rotation flow keeps on going which means the damage just keeps on pumping. I don't use him a lot due to how everything vanishing easily in this game.
Yeah Tighnari really does get that damage out there on individual targets. I think I forgot what crowning actually does for the fifth time, making these characters stronger is starting to upset me.
I really like Tighnari. I did not think he was that good at first. Then I built him up and wow. In the right team, he is powerful.
Kuki shinobu is so good for any reaction team, she's like Kazuha, an EM bot, so you actually don't need a set. But i have her with 4pc gilded and holy shit she slaps with aggravate and hyperbloom
What’s your main stats and ratios for those builds?
@@sinematic06 main stats are em on the sands, em on the circlet and em on the cup. Substats are hp% and em (em on the flower and feather), so she heals a lot and does 10k with hyperbloom

So, I pulled on his banner even if I originally wanted to save. I just thought that if I didn't get him, it's good, I will have built pity, but if I get him it's fine, cause I really like his playstyle and design.
So, I got him and recently his C1 losing 50/50 on Cynos banner, which btw was kinda funny and depressing at the same time. And now I use him quite more often than Cyno, because in comparison he just does way more damage and is even more fun to play for me. Sad about Cynos not so good performance, but now really happy I have my little jackal. 💚🌼
Agree. Everyone else saying Colie and MC on dendritic teams but I use Tigh and he is enjoyable. Agree too on the Ganyu comparison. I like archers
MTashed is the king at changing his opinion on literally everything in this game
He based his initial thoughts by just checking the descriptions of the skill since he can't pull for every character. Of course if he get the chance to use them properly built with good comps, his opinions will change. He puts a disclaimer anyways when giving his initial thoughts and even pointing the viewers to theorycrafting channels lile Zyox for a better and detailed assessment of the character.
My opinion option you can use :
Zhongli , Beidou , Fishl , Tighnari
Beidou / Shinobu , Fishl , DMC , Tighnari
I started when there weren't good banners. Him and keking are only 5 stars I got, so he's been my main DPS. Used to have all deepwood memories on him, then changed to 1/2 sands and half deepwood to get the 2pcs bonus on each. Moving from energy recharge build to EM.
Anyway I love him. And I passed up Ganyu cuz I don't like her playstyle as much as his.
FYI, if you freeze a character with 4pc blizzard strayer set and have deepwood memories on another character in his team, his crit rate and hits are WAY better.
Personally I'd say Tighnari's best as a secondary dps/dendro enabler and not as the main dps unit.
As for teams I haven't really bothered looking for an optimal team and just run Keqing, Tighnari, Diluc, and Kokomi right now (since start of 3.0) so I can enable all the Dendro related reactions so I'm going with a 3 dps team plus healer/no shield unit (Kokomi usually heals fast enough with the healing artifact set to avoid the party dying in all fights besides maybe the Abyss and Raiden Shogun fight (which as far as bosses go is the only 'hard' fight for this team as she's one fo the few bosses that can instantly wipe out 15K HP in one shot and is the only fight that even feels like you need Zhongli's shield to use a mostly stationary unit (most bow users, Yoimiya being prime example) as dps).
His E skill also causing non boss level enemies to attack the air blindly also allows more room to go without a shield user and the CD is generally short enough that you only get a few seconds of time without said dendro/confusion field being on the field.
He has taken over from Ganyu for me, I really enjoy his quickswap gameplay. Ganyu just feels slow now. I use a hyperbloom team and it easily clears all content. I pulled for him on the limited banner, and don't regret it at all, now I can get more constellations from losing 50/50 or the std banner and make him even better.
Lost again the 50/50 on Albedo's banner to Tighnari and i have never been happier in losing. I wildly understimated this dendro fox dude , but now i am happy i finished to build him up. He's probably better versed for hyperbloom than aggravate, but nevertheless, even if he's not " Dendro Ganyu", is a pretty solid DPS to have.
I actually play with Zhongli, Dendro MC, Tighnari and Raiden in my main team. I feel it works very wel considering how fast Tighnari's cooldowns are. Also being able to almost spam his ultimate is benefictial for Raiden. I will add that I'll probably swap out Dendro MC for Nahida if I manage to pull her and swap out Tighnari potentially for a suitable Hydro character.

If any of you haven’t tried tignari with venti and a electro unit please try it!!!
I reroll on a new account and thought on this one I'll save 100wishes for each of my fav characters! and never spent anything besides that but, it did got around 30 standard wishes and i used them and got xinyan and tighnari and suprisingly it made my gameplay 100x easier than before! it was early but it was still worth it!
i enjoy playing him. i liked his design and personality the most so pulled on his banner. he's also more consistent than my Childe. i want to get more att and CR/CD on him but considering i managed to get him to 800 EM, the reactions are really good so not too concerned about farming more for him xDD
if you want an exclusive aggravate team, then you shouldn't add any elements that can consistently react with dendro or electro, like off-field pyro/hydro/cryo, kokommi/xiangling/xingqiu, because as soon as these elements react on the enemy they'll take off the aggravate aura, and you lose the aggravate buff until you reapply. Also bloom/hyperbloom dmg only scale off EM, so if your characters are atk/crit built, it'll lower your dmg significantly. But for you, all your artifacts are god tier, so regardless of your team comp you'll still kill everything.

If you really like quickswap characters i prefer u pair tighnari with yae...it different with raiden tbh like in my case i dont have raiden yet which is my yae E skill is around 20k with quicken reaction...and add with kazuha , kuki shinobu it good to go
I just swapped him in for Ganyu in my main sqaud and the team is so fun for random encounters. I use him with Raiden, Kazuha to group em, and just snipe down with aggravate procs anything that steps up

I know that he’s famous for Aggravate teams, but I’ve personally enjoyed playing hyperbloom team with a respectable team comp : Tigh(guilded) + Fischl + Raiden (EM build) + Kokomi (deepwood)
I also managed to create a nice rotation from this team.
I’m pretty sure he is actually better with em sands, from what I have seen from a few other TH-camrs. I have him with em sands and he doesn’t disappoint.

So glad i wished on his banner, i had over 40 pulls saved for standard but didn't trust my luck, after having to wait over a year to get Jean, I got 2, 5 stars on standard after 3.1 and they were Mona and a weapon. I was excited to start using a dendro dps and i liked his quick playstyle (i don't like Ganyu's playstyle, so Tighnari feels better for me). Though i was hoping to get his c1 from Standard, but maybe someday.
