In Philippines they have a lot of Monarchies Existed and become a traditional.
1. Kingdom of Manila-Rule by Raja Sulayman 15 Century.
2. Sultanate of Sulu- Rule by Sultans
3. Kingdom of Bumbaran- the oldest Kingdom in South east Asia.
4. Sultanate of Maguindanao- Rule by Sultans (Popular Ruler Muhammad Qudarat) 1581-1920
5. Sultanate of Lanao- the youngest Sultanate in the Philippines.

i think the malaysian king has as many duties as his thai counterpart, though mr. prime minister najib razak in malaysia and mr. prayut chan ocha in thailand do manage the affairs of their respective states. i think the mr. razak is doing great job. malaysian economy is growing faster.
