they are living in the country means she needs a firearm to blow away trespassers. She never should go into another person's home uninvited, she might get shot. gonna rant about spoilers. i could not hear anything most of the time. what did she lose that she was all freaking out over and looking for? and what was the significance of the freaking telephone noise?? what was the point of the neighbors? how did she guess what they really did look like without ever seeing them? why did she imagine him dying if he'd already been dead for days? why did she stop pretending he was alive but continue laying in bed with him? why did she pretend he was alive just to pretend he was abusing her and imagine scenarios where she hated him? why was her reaction to seeing him dead just "there's no mattress" ??? not that it matters because the ending makes the entire thing completely pointless. all the way through it i kept thinking 'um, the music is dramatic, but nothing is happening...' then ending: literally NOTHING actually happened. nothing matters because none of it happened! oi... :/ i like the concept the twist was going for but... the rest of the story before the twist happens needs to have some kind of point and a resolution. nothing was resolved in this. there was no character arc or growth. she goes nuts at the end, but she'd already been nuts all along. she realizes she's nuts, but then goes back to the illusion. there was no reason/point to anything that happened. it doesn't make any sense. it should have been like, events escalate and she finally solves the mystery, realizing he's been dead for days and she's been denying it and she finally gets to a point where she has to face/accept/realize the truth, and then have that lead to something that matters so even tho this stuff didn't happen, it still has an effect on the main character and causes a change in her, like it leads to her finding peace as she accepts everything, or she kills herself so she can be with him, or something other than just 'oh, i get it, she's nuts.' we knew she was nuts when she was hearing things that clearly weren't there, like the trees falling in the woods, so even this revelation was pointless except that it cleared up the 'ok there definitely is no ghost/demon or alternate dimension' question. oi! :/

Did anyone notice the horseshoe on the mantelpiece @8:47 was turned upside down @1:16:39. A horseshoe placed like a U catches good luck ,upside down it empties luck.
It's the arrangement of the iron nails that's the important thing... the upside down triangle ..two at the top and one on the bottom is the thing that prevents bad luck and evil...the nails by themselves in the correct configuration are sufficient.
@@AnneAndersonFoxiepaws Thanks, that interesting. It makes me wonder what nails arranged in a six pointed star configuration (hexagram) can do .Would it be balanced energy or something entirely different?
i noticed that straight away....but did you realise there are different theories on how to place the horse shoe: Fishermen from Katwijk (Holland) sometimes hang it on one of the poles under the boom, upside down, so the luck would befall the fishing nets. ... In the US the horseshoe is usually hung with the points upward. I then found this interesting article and the only mention to the nails was the fact they use 7 nails and in ancient times 7 was considered a lucky number (still is in some parts). There are two schools of thought on this matter. Some people say you should hang the horseshoe with the ends - the heels - pointing up so the good luck it brings won't drain out. Others say the heels should be pointing down so the good luck falls on anybody passing through the doorway. The interesting bit is the origin of the horseshoe superstition. One story has it that the devil went to a blacksmith to get his hooves shod. So the smith shaped the horseshoes and nailed them - red hot - into Satan's hooves. The devil went on his way, but soon the hot horseshoes and nails caused him such agony that he tore them off and never went near a horseshoe again. Another idea is that horseshoes are lucky because they are made by blacksmiths, who were considered to be lucky in the old days. That was because they worked with fire - one of the basic elements - and iron, which was believed to possess magic because it was stronger than other metals and could survive a fire. Blacksmiths were so lucky, the ancients believed, that they could heal the sick. And horseshoes were nailed on with seven nails, and seven was a lucky number in many ancient cultures. So hang your horseshoe any old way you want, and I hope it brings you good luck. Another article is at this link which sort of says the same thing but also adds an interesting bit about the horse shoes being nailed to witches coffins and that stops them from returning. psychiclibrary.com/beyondBooks/ups-and-downs-of-horseshoes/
@Amy Beth...electricity and phones are a luxury of life, not a necessity. Humans lived for thousands of years before them and could live for thousands more without them. In fact there are people living today that don't have them.
The movie isn’t a thousand years ago though it’s more present times. Times have changed. The world and people are a lot lore different and dangerous more crime them it used to be I think People don’t leave doors unlocked for that reason Yea we can live without them. But I think she’s saying since we do have it now why take the risk and live without the stuff now. And did the live way out in the middle of no where also like these people without any means of contacting anyone lol. I’m just saying maybe that’s what she meant by the comment idk though 😜
That is what Osama Bin Laden would often say. When they found him, he wasn't in a cave. He had running water, flush toilets, electricity, TV and air conditioning.
Alexander Graham Bell was however a pretty clever guy although his amazing invention which allowed people immediate communication which must have helped peoples lives so much especially in emergancy situations compared to lets say a carrier pigeon🙂however it would be to his amazement and probably chagrin to see (if he were to come back from the dead ) i phones in action and the disturbing compulsive addictive usage of them which has completely changed his idea of being able to access direct communication alone to mundane surfing on Facebook etc and sitting in restaurants with a freind but staring at the phone or nearly getting run over due to the incessant staring at the phone......ironic in a kinda sad way and it is thought provoking concerning the subject regarding the progress of civilisation for me anyway
Into the Movie 29:19......Hubby takes off for awhile into town....she is cleaning house unpacking....earplugs in ears listening to music....door wide open...no gun ....by herself in country...caint hear a thing....not good....gotts to be aware....and always have back-up...
This is a very sad touching movie.. i almost cried at the end. She really lost it after the misscarriage, and just wen she thought she could start over, her husband died. Thats wen she became crazy all alone in the middle of nowhere, no friends or neighbours, a truck with a flat tyre (no transport nowhere to go), no charger to recharge her fon, no connections to anybody AT ALL... She didnt meet the neighbours but probably knew how they looked after she breaks in and saw their pics in the frames... All i can say as conclusion, there is nothing to blame here but the alcohol. If the husband didnt drink, he wouldnt hit her until she got a misscarriage, and drank again until he took his own life.. i feel so sorry for the wife. She didnt deserve this.
Well, with comments like this, I'll give it 10 mins & see how it goes.... Edit: I ended up giving it around 20 minutes, but this just isn't the style of movie I'm into. Thanks for showing it.
I was hoping with 1.6M view this would be a decent movie, but after 40 minutes I'm wondering why I wasted 40 minutes on a very derivative haunted house story.
It is really the down fall of the movie industry, gone are the days when ones hair stands up on the back of their neck. It was very good while it lasted.
Depression kills her, her anger made her a killer.. She lost a child that made her go on depression she thinks that his husband is the reason why there baby died and get crazy.
REeally slow moving movie but intriquing enough to wait for the end. thanks for the upload, However a very good twisted ending caught me off guard. Worth watching!
I’m not checking comments what I’m doing is I am angry I can’t turn my volume any higher this movie is hard to hear what they are saying so I am turning off.
Drinking ruins people. A man hits me, it's only going to be once. He won't get another chance. This is an excellent example of gaslighting at it's finest. With an abusive husband beating his pregnant wife until she miscarries, and then promising over and over again that this isn't like how it used to be, even as he blacks her eye. And the other poor woman...a harsh reality for so many battered women that they're absolutely aware that eventually their spouse is going to end their life.
Don't go making fun of mental health illnesses there not fun to have I have several forms of it and it's a curse and my partner of 17 years is my carer you have no idea what it's like for not only us but our carers to go through you have a disgusting attitude and wonder why I hate Human beings
What a strange movie did not expect that ending !! To all the comments asking how did Maggie know what the neighbors looked like, it’s cause she broke into their house. Remember when Mrs.Anderson wasn’t answering the door well she broke in and looked at their pictures .. remember..
You would think a fire fighter would clear the dead wood from around his own house. Also a forestry fire fighter wouldn't be a drunk. Doesn't mix well.
He never did leave her alone. Remember when the guy came back with the 🔑 to the room. The truck still had a flat tire. The girl went insane and imagined the whole thing 😱

It makes me wonder what nails arranged in a six pointed star configuration (hexagram) can do .Would it be balanced energy or something entirely different?
i noticed that straight away....but did you realise there are different theories on how to place the horse shoe:
Fishermen from Katwijk (Holland) sometimes hang it on one of the poles under the boom, upside down, so the luck would befall the fishing nets.

@@libbyreesbarresi7459 Thank You Libby for that very interesting information .
I enjoyed exploring the website link as well :)
A great movie Thank you so much for the upload and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND ALL FROM DUBLIN IRELAND.
The first thing I would do, is spray paint that old iron bed, and get rid of the dead ivy! How could you sleep in that disaster?😮
No mattress.
I love it still watching...
@Amy Beth...electricity and phones are a luxury of life, not a necessity. Humans lived for thousands of years before them and could live for thousands more without them. In fact there are people living today that don't have them.
@Newt 369 yea and they are called third world countries...

You ignorant! U didnt even understand what he said...ur far a way to be a human being😒😒😒
The movie isn’t a thousand years ago though it’s more present times.
اعشق افلام الرعب كثيراً وخصوصآ القديمه وافلام الدميه المخيفه شكراً جزيلا لك 🥀🌹🥀
Into the Movie 29:19......Hubby takes off for awhile into town....she is cleaning house unpacking....earplugs in ears listening to music....door wide open...no gun ....by herself in country...caint hear a thing....not good....gotts to be aware....and always have back-up...
Straight up amen 🙏
The audio on my side is crystal clear! Not always the norm on TH-cam, but then again if it came off of a VHS, that can be the culprit!
Oh my, i would go batshit crazy living in the middle of nowhere!
Kings of horror seldom let me down...love these movies
Really enjoyed this movie, thank you so much for the upload ~ hugs from Scotland :)
France🤗🤗🤗💕💕
Not a bad movie thanks🍿
She met the neighbors
And her husband isn't dead so far as I can tell
@@amybanker3110 I think he did die
So when did her husband die excactly ?
Dear KoH, saw this years ago , thank you so much for still having it uploaded.
I love watching this movie #i have been dead 30 years ago my son left his computer on I saw all of you
😂😂😂😂😂 okay I see you now please go back in your coffin 😅😅😅
this is one i can watch many times
Love, tragedy, drama,horror...
It's been a long time , I watched a good movie on TH-cam..
Well, with comments like this, I'll give it 10 mins & see how it goes.... Edit: I ended up giving it around 20 minutes, but this just isn't the style of movie I'm into. Thanks for showing it.
Don't watch if you're expecting a thriller. Great bedtime movie though. It's 2.15pm and I'm off to sleep now.
Gud nite !!
Now that was a horror movie! Very well done thanks for sharing.
I know! I think I've seen ya around the KOH circuit, lol!😉💞💀🎥
@@itswhatyoumakeit6950 whats the KOH circit?? Darling girl.
Suspense at best. Hardly horror.
Thank you for this movie. It was just want I wanted. Keep them coming. The acting was great. I never knew what was next.🇨🇦😲
Where can you find one flag of your country to put in here?.
I’m TOTALLY CONFUSED!! How did he die? What was the deal with the ringing phone? Was the entire movie in her imagination????
I'm confused also
That's the whole point , i guess her husband is also a imagination for her
Yeah same here so confusing 🙄
Depression kills her, her anger made her a killer.. She lost a child that made her go on depression she thinks that his husband is the reason why there baby died and get crazy.
Thanks
REeally slow moving movie but intriquing enough to wait for the end. thanks for the upload, However a very good twisted ending caught me off guard. Worth watching!
I’m not checking comments what I’m doing is I am angry I can’t turn my volume any higher this movie is hard to hear what they are saying so I am turning off.
-audio fine on my device-
-try earbuds-
-im not using any-
same here
Just came from listening to Moonlight Sonata third movement on electric guitar. Heard it fine.
You need to get you a Bluetooth
@Vicky-jh3ci -earbuds or headphones-
This movie is so good
Ďakujem za film ❤
Lot of bad comments, think I'll pass on this movie. 😮
Yes same, I read comments first so I will pass as well.
Good movie, but my hubby is deaf and the captions are only in Greek 🤦♀️
😂
Sorry. Probably not funny at all, but that just made my day...😂😅😂😅
Read Comments first before watch, who like me??? 👀
Lol hell yea
Drinking ruins people. A man hits me, it's only going to be once. He won't get another chance. This is an excellent example of gaslighting at it's finest. With an abusive husband beating his pregnant wife until she miscarries, and then promising over and over again that this isn't like how it used to be, even as he blacks her eye. And the other poor woman...a harsh reality for so many battered women that they're absolutely aware that eventually their spouse is going to end their life.
I liked the movie. I've seen it before. Great plot twist at the end, which are my favorites! ❤❤❤ Thanks for the upload!!
Wow, this was a good movie... Mental health y'all.
😂
Don't go making fun of mental health illnesses there not fun to have I have several forms of it and it's a curse and my partner of 17 years is my carer you have no idea what it's like for not only us but our carers to go through you have a disgusting attitude and wonder why I hate Human beings
I could never live that far away from everything. I live in Jupiter, Florida near the ocean and everything we need😊
ANYTIME SOMEONE WEARS THE SAME CLOTHES I FIGURED SOMETHING WASN'T RIGHT🤔🤔🤔
Good movie thanks
What a strange movie did not expect that ending !! To all the comments asking how did Maggie know what the neighbors looked like, it’s cause she broke into their house. Remember when Mrs.Anderson wasn’t answering the door well she broke in and looked at their pictures .. remember..
That was a fun one! The psychological themes usually make for interesting movies. Thanks for sharing it!
ADVICE: any movie(Horror) that have Many Viewers or Likes is the best just like this one 👆I love it ☺️
You would think a fire fighter would clear the dead wood from around his own house. Also a forestry fire fighter wouldn't be a drunk. Doesn't mix well.
Very weird movie, I watched it all but I really wish I hadn't bothered. Someone else might enjoy it though. Just not my cup of tea.
Worth the watch I think she went nuts in that huge house bit of a strange movie but I enjoyed it
Stupid man, how could leave your wife alone in that house.no communication. Poor lady😭😭
He never did leave her alone. Remember when the guy came back with the 🔑 to the room. The truck still had a flat tire. The girl went insane and imagined the whole thing 😱
