Pochettino definitely does have a say because he always had a penchant for young black Frenchman at Tottenham and does now at Chelsea. You could actually tell which ones were “his buys” at spurs (Nkoudou, Njie, Ndombele, Aurier, Sissoko (not young, granted) - Disasi, Gusto, Nkunku are 100% players we would’ve got if he was still at spurs, so he has to have a say.

If we don’t get these disasterclasses now when should we get them? Next season? This was Poch’s way of showcasing our defense to the owners for next season because Silva and chalobah will inevitably go. Our back 3 bar Gilchrist is worth 130m and see what they produced. It is not Poch fault that they signed kids for a club which is expected to win titles and finish top 4. He isn’t a magician either. The Epl is unforgiving as well. It took Arteta almost half a decade to build that team and even then he had to buy experienced players from City. We all can’t acknowledge the fact that the players are shite and in the same breath point hands at the manager when we loose. We all know the recruitment was flawed, the team is set up to fail. Our top players Nkunku has always been an injury prone player, fofana chilwell and James they’re all injury prone.

Oh cry me a river. Chelsea fans were jumping with joy when they won the "transfer window trophy" saying we have an amazing squad and we are going to compete for the title. And now... You talk about some kind of project?? At Chelsea? Haha you are a mid table team at best. I don't even know who most of your players are or what they are good at. What? Running? Is that a skill? Some of them I have never even heard of before. Pathetic! You deserve everything you get now.
I agree that we needed more experience but Chilly, James and Thiago all won the UCL; should have made Thiago the captain and given him no choice in the matter. Letting Jorginho go was a big mistake; Kai was always a hit or miss but probability of him playing well in a better team is higher. Can review the other players another time below are 5 points why I believe Poch should be replaced at end of season:
1. Could not beat 10 man burnley - in fact burnley had a poor decision against them and could have scored again to win the game after the red card on several occasions.
2. Could not beat Sheffield United. Do I need to say more?
3. Played conservatively against Liverpool's "KIDS" and lost before their intended penalties' strategy. No winning mentality.
4. Should have buried a tired, tired, Man City who gave up possession on the night. Talk all you want about Jackson, it is the manager's job to find solutions to get more time and he should have taken Jackson off and play CP as a false 9 and bring on Sterling, who has extra motivation against city, far earlier.
5. We played counterattacking football against Arsenal the first time we met, but suddenly felt we could compete and dictate play fully yesterday? Incorrect, should have played the same tactics he did the first time we met because we should have won that game easily if not for a unforced errors.
I was in camp 'give Poch more time' because of the amount of money spent on the squad; but if he can't make decisions like to go to a back 5 as soon as we down 2 against Arsenal, then I don't know what he is there for.
Reminds me when he was at spurs in the finals of the champions league for spurs when the match winner for spurs before the Liverpool finals

This myth about Chelsea being too young needs to stop. Liverpool won a final against them with 4 teenagers on the pitch. Arsenal's squad is 1 year older than Chelsea's in terms of average age. Maybe they're just not good 🤷🏽♂️.

Simon around 8 minutes saying it's a silly notion that Pochettino had no say in transfers when the club released statements to the public through journalists that he won't have any say in recruitment and they want him to focus on coaching. Simon is utterly clueless in regards to the footballing operations at Chelsea. He's simply not informed or objectively pushing a dishonest narrative.
This by no means exonerates Pochettino. He's not a good manager IMO and never wanted him in the first place however, who hired him after an "exhaustive" 3-4 month search for a manger? The same owners and minion directors that said no to Nagglesman, Luis Enrique, fired Tuchel - (2 of the 3 in the semis at the UCL btw, but not good enough for Chelsa...let that sink in) are the people that brought in a Spurs manager who had utterly failed in Paris with a world class squad. Anyone with an IQ around room temperature could have and DID tell people this was a bad idea. So who's ultimately responsible?
