It's also possible that demons between worlds share memories like a deja Vu effect in real life. How people say deja Vu is just a memory from a parallel dimension.
With Lucifer winning the Conseption never happened as it was meant to. Instead of folding in on itself Tokyo was simply ripped off the planet and dumped in a seperate dimension
Can’t believe Idun didn’t get any special convos. Was expecting her to at least interact with Valkyrie and she could even give her some nice items. Doi’s commentary makes it clear that her design is a reflection of her being pampered by the gods because she provides them with apples (similar to how an idol is pampered).
Kind of disappointing that there’s no interaction between Alice and her Uncles Belial or Nebiros. A bit of a let down but I guess we’ve got plenty though.

Girimekhala is probably a Buddhist "smear job" of Ganesha. Slightly later texts/Rituals from the Mahayana Buddhist Nalanda tradition call Ganesha the "lord of obstacles" that has to be overcome - much like Mara. As the two religions were in competition in the Indian subcontinent, many legends would either portray deities from the other faith as inferior or subject to their own deities.
I hope more get added in the expansion, this game really made the demons the best in the series - tho it really was at the cost of the bad story and main characters -
If I'm remembering the lore I read correctly, the Personae in Persona aren't actually demons, they look the exact some because of collective (un)consciousness stuff, and the only time actual demons show up in the Persona chronology would be with characters like Kuzonohas or in Soul Hackers, so Loki in Persona is a different entity to the demon Loki in SMT.
Man... Amanozako is such a weird inclusion in this game. Like she has literally nothing to do with her actual mythological role, and that convo with the Koppa Tengu really exemplifies that. One of the reasons I became an SMT fan was that I love learning about myths and legends, so as a fan of the irl lore of SMT that's pretty disappointing to me.

Did you play the game? They reference the conception directly. It is 100% a sequel to nocturne.

SMT was never 100% accurate to myths and legends. I don't remember were in mythology Thor nuked Tokyo with ICBMs in order of Yehova.

Each SMT game is pretty standalone so you can play this without having played the other games and not miss anything
I will be honest, I think some of these could be voiced by the mlp cast effectively, and it woukd fit perfect. So e of these demons are total buds!
