What you've written is from the Marathi perspective. Goans despise Shivaji because of the BLM (Burn, Loot and Murder) activities carried out by Maratha Empire against ordinary Goan villagers during their raids on Goa. But now Marathis doing POGO posing put up Shivaji statues all over Goa to give the false impression that Goa was ruled by Maratha Empire.

BJP CM Sawant of Goa started a Communal flare up between Catholics and Hindus for the first time in Goa's history.
When reporters asked questions he was happily laughing from ear to ear !
He famously said some months ago that he will "see" and straighten out "Portuguese people" in Goa.
For Sawant all Catholics are of "Portuguese origin" because they have Portuguese names.
So the Party thinks like Biren Singh he is the right candidate to maintain peace in Goa.

How come fire was lit in Manipur by CM When the issue is a decade older between tribes. Do you have any knowledge of history or just spreading another propaganda put forth by religious leaders which monotheistic religions are famous for doing as a disguise for spreading peace?
