Love the beat and the keyboard in this. Easy E is definitely a pioneer of rap. You hit the nail...it has such a West Coast/SoCal vibe. Pure Vida brother!
I call it the secret of eazy e's voice. When the nwa album came out back in the days immediatley i was hooked to his voice. That they later have made diss tracks among each other has never bothered me. We had mix tapes with dr.dre, snoop, eazy e, ice cube and so many more.
Eazy E is an underappreciated legend. If you want to hear Eazy's laid back party vibe try these: Switchez Only If You Want It Sippin On A 40 If you want more of his G raps: Creep N Crawl Wut Would You Do Neighborhood Sniper All good Eazy E jams to rock with! Congratulations on 11K STAX! 🎉
Can you react to luv 4 dem gangstas if you haven't? It was released after his death and is apart of an amazing album honoring eazy e and his legacy in the hood as well the other OG's in the hood
When I listen to old West Coast I wonder what happened and I wonder what real G rappers in this current generation think about these songs. To me Eazy E was one of the realest. I grew up in LA County when it was really bad, Gen X. I feel his pain even as a white dude, police seem oppressive and people don't want to hire you because of your skin color or perception. I lean towards the conservative side and I see this. When you said God's timing I think you were spot on. Maybe Eazy's anger towards things was righteous because of the way he and others around him were treated. I wasn't there in Compton so I don't know. I know LA in the 90s was like current Memphis, Chicago, and other cities. You didn't want to play there. Probably still that way in some areas.
Eazy was so talented and no one had a voice like Eazy. It was unique...🔥🔥🔥

I was a german weed smoking nerd and heard Eazy and the Beastie Boys every day. The good old days.
'Nobody Move' and 'Still Talkin' bruuuuh! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I'm not gonna lie, I bumped this EP way more than I did The Chronic. "Down to the Last Roach" is still my favorite track.
