One of the most classic albums ever made from start to finish
I listened to this album every day my whole senior year. Shots to the double glock was the song the whole football team would listen too before games to get hyped up!!
Not one of the most classic bro, the classic
@@dkn8463 came out my sophomore year bumped this shit all the way thru senior year.
@dkn8463 we used to call plays for fun on defense in games. "Pump blood, put em in the mud" That was a blitz lmao😂
@@cameleyez that is so badass!!
Next up..Bone Thugs n Harmony's "Art Of War" Album 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My favorite!
YESSIR 🔥🔥🔥🔥
And he GOTTA do a Live for EACH Disc
AOW their best album for me BONE at their peak
Art of War, next album!!
My favorite Bone album!!
Cant be serious guys. Art of war was not as good as this album or the previous one
Here’s a gem for you: The album cover is also a map. It was called the Mr. Ouija map. Also if you look on the album cover in the building window, you’ll see a picture of Eazy-E.
I wish he could have the physical copy so he could trip out on all the pictures that came with it. It was a whole experience listening this for the first time
One of the few albums without a skipped track. Pure fire from start to finish.
Man salute to this young man bringing back all the classics from my youth 💯
Yes this went 4x platinum out the gate!!! I’ve heard now its sold over 10 Mil which makes it certified Diamond
If you check RIAA they have this album at 4x platinum. A lower amount than I think it actually sold.
@@seanmunson4173 yes I believe they usually list what an album sells the first week. This album came out almost 30 years ago and has now sold WELL over that. Think of it this way, when the album came out, it didnt even have Tha Crossroads on it yet! So the 4x platinum is WITHOUT that song which didnt come out until 1996 and was added on. The single for Tha Crossroads alone went 2x platinum
@@seanmunson4173 and to also add…Bone was shorted another grammy for best album in 1995. They lost to Naughty By Nature “Poverty’s Paradise” which is bullsh*t! Dont get me wrong, I love Naughty…and it was a cool album, but not even close to East 1999 Eternal. But again, this award was presented BEFORE Tha Crossroads was added to the album which im sure would shifted the votes big time…but even without Tha Crossroads they still should’ve won.
@@andy1181-l3m The 4X Platinum certification was on July 15th 1996. The album was released on July 21 1995. So it took a year to sell 4 million copies. Tha Crossroads was released on April 1 1996 and was certified 2X Platinum on June 13th 1996. There is no Diamond certification.
@@wreiad first off thsts just the US, your time frames are wrong on sales, Crossroads was released on April 23rd, total sales in the US are over 5 million, and none of that includes streams and downloads
I remember getting this album for Christmas the year it released...my Catholic auntie gifted it to me per my request. I can't believe she got it for me...14 yrs old. Must've listened to that album for 3 weeks straight. So much talent, masters of their craft.
Wow! That's a great story.. classic
Dopest album of all time! I dont care what anyone else says!
#STILLBone4Life
#30thYearAnniversary
My favorite album of all time. I can't begin to describe the feeling of listening to Bone at that time. Middle and high school days were crazy
Right!? It was like you where part of a small underground group of fans even though they where like one if the most popular rap groups at the time
TOP 10 HIP-HOP ALBUM OF ALL TIME!! DJ U-Neek did an outstanding job on the production 🔥🔥 cult classic right here
greatest rap album ever produced period
I’m from Massachusetts my dad is from Cleveland and I went to see him in like 91 or 92 and this is all my little sister and there friends were listening to and not soon after I got back home they blew up. Love Bone
This came out in 95
“In khaki suits and hi-tech boots.” When I was 19 I had to go to South America for a year and I was able to take three CDs with me. It was E-40 In a Major Way, Too Short Cocktails and this album. This is embedded in my brain for life.
Dope selections to cop n play in da whip🔥🔥🌹🌹🙏🙏
“Oops, Im coming with troops…”
Now you know why we love them so much. It's crazy because back then they didn't get their props. It wasn't until the Crossroads remix when people started paying attention to them. Crossroads stayed #1 for a long time. I've been with them before it was cool to like them. I was so happy when they started getting the acknowledgement they deserve.
There was so much B.S rap back in the early 90s. People picked up a mic who had no right calling themselves a rapper. This was such a different style that some may think they were another wack group. Rap was slower and loud at the time. These brothers are smooth. Once you realize they weren't punks, you accepted Bone. I've been down since Thuggish Ruggish.
@@Maxxroad Nah, rap was good. It was just that they were different, and you know that people don't like what they don't understand. I have been a fan since Thuggish Ruggish Bone too. Crossroads remix made people listen to them. Then they sealed it with that performance at the MTV Music Awards. After that, it was up for them. Only group to do songs with Eazy E, Pac, and Biggie. Proud of my boys.
I was with them strong from creeping on a come up
What you mean? They were superstars
@@histguy101 After Crossroads they were. Nobody was messing with them like that before that. The Crossroads remix blew them up, then they did songs with Biggie, Pac, and Mariah Carey.
**Edit**
Fun fact: a *couple* of the beats on this album was samples from a Sega genesis video game called Eternal Champions.
only 2 of em, actually. the song Eternal and the original Crossroads both sampled Eternal Champions
@@RuthIessVillain you right! Edited
Eternal came from Street Fighter
OG cross roads my favorite
@@amosnelson6037 nope. A fighting game called eternal champions. Thats why there song is also called eternal.
This was my first proper hiphop album. I remember getting this and 36 Chambers on the same day
You Need a 5.0, some Rockford Fosgate 12's, a Philly Blunt and a 40 of Ides to Enjoy this properly lol. . Classic off the jump
Bone thugs so influential that the rappers in the 2010s used there style. That rhythmic triplets flow is all over that decades music. Asap rocky and them. Migos etc.
The 2010's rappers got that style from Triple 6 Mafia and Memphis.
It's all a mix of gumbo! Hip-Hop has sooo many dynamics
@@BloodyJasonMask2 Three 6 came out later and said Bone Thugs came up with the style independently from them. They thought Bone stole it at first but realized they came up with it the same time. So I'd say they both influenced later rappers
Mannnnnn this my Favorite Bone Album this Album Went Diamond World Wide
RIAA has this album at 4x platinum
@@seanmunson4173 World Wide It Went Diamond
@@seanmunson4173it’s 10x Platinum worldwide
Thumbs up Ahmad for this one, BTNH whole style is an Ode to growing up in CLE which at that time had a heavy R&B scene (If you know about "For Lovers Only" you know what I'm talking about) It's so many CLE references in this album, if you ain't from CLE and wasn't around during that time you wouldn't catch it.
Ex. In 1st of the Month - Rita refers to RTA which is what we called the bus system back in the day, The double Glock refers to E. 99, Sowinski Ave, back in the day was a hot spot (I'll leave it at that if you know you know)
BTNH's first 3 albums were can't miss classics, they definitely put on for the city, much respect to BTNH for representing the 216!
🔥 The 15 year old me was vibin to this & Smif N Wessun
Devin the Dude - Waiting to Inhale has that smoked out R&B feel. 🔥
Same.
The intro is Thuggish Ruggish Bone in reverse... Classic Album
They'll be here in Dallas next month I'll be there can't wait
My fav rap group and possibly album of all time. Respect for playing all the way thru. Gotta put Mr Bill Collector and East 1999 on a playlist tomorrow.
Hopefully people in your live stream gave you their nicknames which they use extensively through out their songs which adds another layer to the experience. These names started way back on their first EP B.o.n.e Enterprises
Krayzie - Leatherface
Bizzy - Rest in Peace / RIP / RIPsta
Layzie Bone - #1 Assassin
Wishbone - Straight Jacket
So go back and listen to say “the getaway” and hear all those references again.
Was 18 when this dropped, summer 95. 95 was a great year for hip hop
E1999. Gotta b top 5 all-time greatest hip hop album ..front to back no skips
No lie, dog, you're the most relatable reactor that I watch. Too real.
Your reactions are exactly how we listened with friends back in the 90s. We didn't ponder every lyric and breakdown the meanings.
We just vibed and listened.
Im commenting after the weed/psychedelics talk. Hit that bud once and put it down. Then trip out and enjoy.
CERTIFIED CLASSIC‼️BTNH 🐐s‼️ 50 million combined albums sold worldwide 💪🏾
SOOOO glad you finally did the full album! I been asking for it, for a year!! 😂
Before watching this reaction, I found out that some of the tracks were sampled from Eternal Champions. Listening to this, if rap didn't work out back then, they could've been a great r&b group lol
Been waiting for this
Some crazy facts about the group you may not know. Krayzie accidently shot wish in the leg with a 12 gauge. Layzie was shot in the head when he was 16 I believe. It was said that his older brother flesh picked him up and carried him and the bullet fell out of his ear. He was deaf for months then he said one day his hearing just came back. Bizzy was kidnapped when he was very young. He thought it was his stepfather but he said his mother told him later on in life when he was in his thirties that the guy was his actual father that kidnapped him. John Walsh played a part in his return to home. Flesh got locked up for 10 years. You should also check out some of Bizzys solo albums. They are true works of art and imo better than anything out right now. I've never heard an artist put together verses like him.
Definitely should check out Do or Die Po pimp album yo. . Them and Bone had beef back in the day over who came up with this type Rap Style. . To me they way different, . But that was what was goin on back then.
Do or Die- Picture This album
@daniflower11 yes....yes...surprise sleeper album.
Then Twista and Layzie collabed on Midwest Invasion and tore it up.
I was 10 when this dropped...looked up all the lyrics at school...printed em out and learned this shyt word for word.....classic album
This was your most hilarious video... you are right this album definitely has eerie horror occult vibes. There were heavy rumors back then about them actually being devil worshippers... but they always denied it.
This reaction was too funny. I was laughing throughout 😂. Good shit!
Krayzie is da most underrated rapper he can rap on every beat he got a style for every track he always creatin 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dem cats be figure skating and doing gymnastics with the flow.
My young bull did it AGAIN!! Another certified classic!! Love your content brotha, Ima try to support you even more !! Love from Cleveland!!!
Greatest rap group of all time 💯💯
Easily THE HARDEST album ever created by the HARDEST rap group ever created
Shotz to the Double Glock is my fav by far! One of the hardest tracks of any genre ever
I was a metal head who had grown up with rap all around me, I was there when the movie “Krush Groove” came out, and a young and skinny LL Cool J popped off with “my radio believe me I love it loud, I’m the man with the box that rock the crowd”, and I had to get a boombox immediately after. Breakin’ parts 1 and 2, The Fat Boys, Run Dmc, the Beastie Boys come out, all while I am in middle school, I was a huge fan, but Metal and Rock was my thing cause I played guitar. When East 1999 hit my ears later in life, instead of a Boombox I went out and got a system for the whip! 😂 and it stayed in my cassette player for almost a damn year.
Cold classic. The intro to me is the best intro of all time.
Damn, props for listening to this. East 1999 is one of my all time favorites, and for a F'ng reason. This album is sinister. I wish all new artists had this level of lyrisicm and skill showed on this album.
Down 71 the getaway would be a great gta 6 song on the radio
Their story telling in this is bar none.... I still get chills when I hear Layzie say its a preacher with a grin
I was 10 years old when this album came out and I was hooked from the introduction. My favorite album ever
Takes me back. This album was played so often i had to buy another cd to replace it.
Bone thugs n harmony actually did sing and rap around a burning barrel back in the day. Shoot em up and days of our lives is perfect example of murder sounding beautiful.
LOTS OF SAMPLES FROM THIS ALBUM WERE FROM ETERNAL CHAMPIONS VIDEO GAME FOR SEGA GENESIS FROM 1993
2. Eternal and og crossroads
'Horrorcore' in the 90s was almost a thing. Check out Gravediggaz' debut album. AMAZING.
This album made my brother a big Bone fan like I am for Wu Tang.
I'm not gonna lie, Bone thugs n Harmony is the best legendary group of all time in the 90's. I tried weed at 25 years old, and it's not bad at all but it puts me to sleep. Lol.
Can't sleep on Bizzy's vocal range on 'Budda Lovers'. Sillk Sonic amd Bizzy, even Bone at that. Yep, we want dat rite der.
Truly adore this album: it is unique and the quality of the rapping and production is so damn good. Eternal is just hip-hop perfection to me. 🔥
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Krayzie got the hooks, Bizzy got the verses. Wish and Layzie and Flesh are the FOUNDATION
I'm from Cleveland I had the studio tape before CD came out. Like 5 songs missing
We played this song for my auntie who died to covid. This was the song she requested.
Bone was thumping everywhere in NE Ohio during the 90's..definately changed the game with their harmonies ❤for the Land. Best part is you getting all fired up and then Bud Smokers Only comes on😂
Layzie Bone aka #1 Assassin
Krayzie Bone aka Leatherface
Bizzy Bone aka RIP
Wish Bone aka Straight Jacket
Fifth dog/Stack aka Flesh n Bone
If you ever get a chance to see them live do it. They tour alot and their shows are all good. I've seen them about a dozen times
Listen to Creepin on da Come Up EP. That was the debut of the BTNH after Eazy signed them
Bro I had to come back to say you gotta do creepin on a come up… creeping on a come up is their first album and its sic af.
Bought this and Mystic Stylez same day in ‘95
Krayzie showed out on this album. Dope you reacted to the OG Crossroads! Like I said previously this album lyrically isn’t the best but it’s 🔥🔥 music to ride to. Straight classic.
I'm a white dude who grew up in a shitty small all white town and listened to nothing but heavy rock and metal growing up so my experience with black culture was strictly through media until I moved away. While every kid in middle and high school was playing Dr. Dre and Snoop or shitty weak radio rock and pop, I randomly discovered this album and 36 Chambers the same year. Both albums are so dark and raw that I had to buy them even though I knew very little of where their lyrics were coming from or rap in general really. Both albums feel like complete works of art and have a consistent sound due to one producer doing the whole album.
MC's have to stay in the pocket in there verses, Bone was the pocket 🔥🔥🔥
Coast Contra is a breath of fresh air listening to them
They go crazy!!
So glad to see someone do some old bone you need to check out there 1994 album Creepin on ah Come Up its absolute fire album as well
ah i missed it, but i can see you enjoyed it :D rare album where i love every track
Damn bro I forgot how much I liked this album. Gotta give it some love on my spotify for sure
If you wanna one more "beautiful murda " song by them , check this one "shoot em up"
Bone Fans: if you don’t already know, this was the OG “Down 71’”. Sounds more like it should be on creepin’ … 🔥
th-cam.com/video/eRDm8enZ5vY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BzPtIyXleY3bNlFo
Down 71 tha getaway is one of the hardest songs ever. This whole album is tight but that's probably my favorite track.
E. 1999 Eternal is still my favorite album, ever. All genres. Agreed on Krayzie having the best verses - but all 5 came with A+ performances.
The greatest Rap album ever made!!!! Do Art of War next!! 🔥 album!!
“Shotz To Tha Double Glock” features Poetic Hustla’z & The Graveyard Shift. 2 groups affiliated with Bone
😂😂😂he said imma start smokin 😂😂😂😭
Love this channel
Thanks for the video, it's my first time listening to the whole album too. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bone thugs " Handle the Vibe " one of their best and underrated songs of their entire catalog. You should really check it out. As a bone fan, you would be selling yourself short if you don't.
I love this album. Notice how their sings go straight into the next. No pause just non stop through the whole album.
This album is in my top 5!
This classic took me back to 95 with the homies ✌🏽

That was fun as fuq! Had a great time sharing my Saturday night with y'all
Everyone smoking black and milds after this dropped.. 330 represent
First physical CD I ever got 3rd-4th grade. My Dad bought it for me at Sam Goody in Capitola.
12-gauge gotta be they favorite ghun got me crying 😂😂😂😂!!! Thank you so much for appreciating our beloved own BTNH!!!….CLEVELANDS DEFINITELY IN THE HOUSE!❤
Aye this is my Highschool days and Bone is not even my favorite Rap Group. I got plenty of Rappers and Rap groups that are my favorite before I get to Bone. Like Wu-tang, OutKast, The Early Death Row Days with Snoop and the Dog Pound, ice Cube & Westside connection, Biggie and a Few More.....But With All that Being Said This Bone album Est.1999 is The Ultimate Classic Album in Hip-hop History to me. Every Single Song is a Banger,No Skips & Every Member Kills it with their Verses. This is one of my favorite albums of All time & is the Most complete Album in Hip-hop even over My Favorite Rappers and Rap Groups Albums.
im mad asf i missed the live, this one of my favorite albums ever!
“The getaway” is a prime example of them telling a story! One of their best track in my opinion. Yes I agree with you, “down 71” should be a movie. They dont break him out of prison, they broke him out during a hearing in court! Im sure that judge got killed lol.
Ps Bone has a movie called “I tried” that came out when they released their single with akon in 07 called aslo “I tried” its an alternate universe where bone didnt make their first album with eazy and what that led too.
Definitely one of the best albums of all time. This and The Art of War are amazing albums
This was considered their most classic album, but BTNHResurrection is their greatest and most pivotal album from the diversity of content, amazing production, deepness of the lyrics and what was happening with the group at the time it was the height of their fame, all went downhill from there. It got mixed reviews when it dropped but it was just way ahead of its time, certified classic listen and enjoy the art!
Nothing tops E99. Not even close. And their height of their fame was during the crossroads remix peak. AoW was a big deal but wasn't as good as E99.
@cameleyez i guess it depends how you measure fame. They had just done a bunch of solo albums after art of war, hella collabs like krayzie and cube, flesh got locked up, then resurrection drops and i believe it was followed by their biggest grossing tours. I love Bone but you can never say the height of their fame came before Notorious Thugs but they wrre definitely all gas no brakes after Crossroads
@smokelandflavors8745 Well, to me they sort of fell off after AoW. It's a good album, but I don't think the album hit like
That and their solos weren't big hitters. Trying to think of big songs off those solos but can't really recall.
Hopefully Art Of War, Resurrection, and UNi5 coming! And solos
Classic Album 🔥 reaction
Those chords in E 1999 though! ❤🎉Still get me!
This was the first tape I ever got. It's a flawless album.
@@JerryMayne503 still got the tape. I got their first album they put out before they were bone, band aid boys. Got all there autographs too
Go ahead and listen to Bizzy Bone individual joint, and song "Nobody can stop me"! Its smooth and real
So when I got this album (when it first dropped on casset tape) a few of the songs were different. Crossroads especially was completely different. I can find that version anymore. Anyone have a link to it?
