- Christmas is here! One of my favorite days each year, this one is very similar to years passed. Just a good time to relax with family, and an extra special day for us after the last 8 weeks of Mal's surgery and recovery. Hope your holiday was a merry one as well!

The Christmas vlog is always something special every year.
This is probably going to sound a bit weird, but after watching so much of your lives, it kind of feels like we're almost part of the family. Just seing all of you guys having a great time fills me with joy.
Also, I'm jealous of Mal's kitty pajamas. Should I? I think I should.
Hearing your mom tell the story about the Christmas you got a SNES and how excited you were to play Donkey Kong Country is super wholesome. It's memories like that that really makes Christmas special.
Been watching for YEARS and this is my first comment. This is my favorite vlog every year. There is something about watching you all together that makes me so very happy. Every year is a joy.
The most hectic Christmas we ever had was 2018 and that was because we flew to across Canada to spend the holiday with my sister. Although Christmas day itself was relaxing and fun, the time leading up to it was insane

Does mal have a peanut allergy? Or is she just sensitive to them ,I don't know much about that allergy and I know everyone is different but a friend of mine has one and she can't eat any other nuts nor can you eat nuts around her , seems like mals allergy isn't bad like the ones I've seen people have so was just curious
She can eat food cooked in peanut oil, but not peanuts themselves. Stephen at one point said he has to brush his teeth after eating peanuts, so she doesn't get sick if he kisses her. However, she is absolutely deathly allergic to latex.

My parents got divorced this year, and it was the first time I split Christmas between my mom and dad. Tbh I missed having a gathering like this, so thanks for sharing so I can enjoy a happy, healthy family dynamic. I’m glad everyone had a lovely time and is in good health.

The Frosty talk reminded me of the old movies of Frosty the Snowman where they say that the hat was a Magician's hat. A really bad magician but the hat had magic.
growing up in a mexican household with mexican food, i have no complaints about my culture BUT i’ve always wanted to try mama georg’s food, it always looks sooo good, i don’t eat anything that looks like her food, ya know?
The lifesavers books are a tradition in my family too! Save a couple years where we couldn't find them of course.
It was a tradition in our 4-H club Christmas gift exchange to end up with something that was NOT the Lifesavers books. We went one at a time and you either had the choice of keeping what you had or forcing someone to trade with you. No one really wanted the Lifesavers.
I remember my parents playing Donkey Kong Country on the SNES in November 1994 when it came out and I was just 4 months old since I was born on July 15th of that year and over the years until I became 6 in late 2000 I started playing it for a while until turned 9 that's when I really got into it and became a pro veteran completionist at the age of 12 I can 101% the game under an hour.

Wasn’t it a magician’s hat? I thought there was a part of the story where they find out some magician is like “I need my hat back for my magic show”, maybe I’m crazy but I could swear it was a magician’s hat.
My mom still always receives life savers in the story book from my grandmother every single year for Christmas as a part of her gift. I love getting to see that it isn’t only my mom who had that tradition! 🎄 Hope everyone had a happy holidays!

Waterpiks are the best. Don't use it on high your first time cause boy did I learn the hard way. Also the first time you use it, it will shock you how much comes out of your mouth with it.
Also the massage gun is a God send. It helps get the spots along the spine you can't reach yourself.
Christmas didn't feel very familial this year around my and my extended family, so this was a nice vibe to experience. Thanks for sharing it with us! Merry Christmas
My husband and I got the same battery storage container from my dad! He always gets all of his kids some kind of practical gadget like that. He's so sweet, he even filled them for us, too.

My parents gave me PC Parts because lord knows I needed some, they let it slipped because that was accidental slip up and I got trolled back when I told them they ended up not being subtle and told me to not expect anything, when in reality I wasn't because we all know PC Parts are dang expensive. But so here I am with almost all the PC Parts I need to get my first owned Desktop.
And I just find it funny that we just keep falling for the same Gift Trick every single time.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have Christmas Breakfast at my sister’s house last month due to my sister’s husband getting Covid. (Hopefully, he’s recovered some by now.)
I’m just a little younger but what I remember fondly very vividly getting was Xmas 96 super Mario 64, pretty hard to top. Also Stephen says just a couple more days left of December, has no idea Betty white a couple days later :’|
Btw Stephen, the reason Frosty the Snowman became alive is because the hat is a WIZARDS hat or really a street magician. Throughout the movie he's trying to get his hat back so who's REALLY the antagonist of the story.

Can I just tell you that I do not go anywhere without my waterpik (or the travelling model). It is the best tool for gum health. You will love it.

Stephen and Mal do you recommend the Waterpik you got for Christmas? I have been thinking of getting one for me because I don’t floss either. I know with one of those I would floss more often. Also Merry belated Christmas and New Year’s to your families!
They're nice, you start with the low pressures and work up. Also they are pretty loud for some reason the vibration of the machine messes with TV's in our house. As soon as it gets turned on a TV starts flickering in and out, super weird. but otherwise nice and make your mouth feel really clean.
