When I heard Stephens voice change pitch and ask who the letter was from I knew who it would be from. I got tears in my eyes and the glitter from my eyeliner got on my sleeve while I was trying to dry them. That was really sweet...

Oh my god, I can’t get enough of Stephen’s mom thinking that what she got from him was burial expenses when in reality it was a coupon for cleaning her gutters on her house. Her reaction was so funny. Also, a little morbid thinking on your mom’s part when she said that Stephen. 😆

for 6 minutes of the vlog i was like "something feels off about this..." and then i realized IT DIDN'T START IN THE BATHROOM AND YOU DIDN'T BRING THE CATS THIS YEAR

Yeah. They said on breakfast stream that day that the kitties were pretty stressed out by it last year so they gave it a pass this time.
And they never came back as a result. Which was probably for the best.

It touch’s my heart to know you have so much love in your life. Whether it be from Mal, your parents, your friends, or your viewers, your life is so filled with love it makes my heart literally flutter, and I love that.
Stephen has the best group of people around him and has for many years now. He's honestly blessed beyond compare. :D

When I saw all those nuts all I could think was that 1 vlog from college where Stephen eat a whole tub of I think pretzels and by the end he was on the carpet prone in pain. Think the title was dont eat a 1kg of something

The stream was great, for the first time in a long while I could watch the whole thing from start to finish!
Also, in Finland we usually open presents on Christmas Eve, around maybe 6 or 7 PM. The American tradition has always seemed so cruel to me, you have to wake up really early and be all groggy while opening presents? I mean, I guess the kids don't mind, but for me, especially now, it would be torture. I prefer our way of eating A LOT, then opening presents and then getting into Sauna.
Zenzibar5 kids will get up early. I’m an adult now and I’m just at a point where things can wait. I’m also a morning person so I’m ready for anything by 9am.

Glad you all had a great Christmas! My mom recently found a gift my grandma had gotten for me for Christmas before she passed away last year, so seeing you open your grandpa's card was very special to watch. Merry Christmas!

The Oregon Trail card game is great! It is hard, as expected, but it's a great tabletop version of the video game.
Also: the vast majority of the world's olive oil is from Spain. There are actually a bunch of companies in other countries that take Spanish olive oil, add a little bit of their olive oil, and then market it as coming from that country. So, there's a chance you may have consumed Spanish olive oil and never known it!

now that i’ve started the journey, although i’ve been here since about 2014(? 13? i can’t remember oops), the vlogs just mean so much more. i cried twice watching the engagement vlog, and i’m getting close to the wedding vlog now too, and it’s just amazing to see how you have such an amazing relationship with mal and also your family. i’ve been blessed with an amazing family and it’s great to see such beautiful relationships elsewhere. i hope you had a great holiday and have a great new year.

Haha I got a suitcase as my big present this year too! Since I’m going to be travelling to University and being far from home (well, in New Zealand flights can be 1-3 hours so it’s not far but travelling by car sucks) it’s very useful!
