Hey guys,
Here's the new video! It's been a year in the making, mostly because I actually wrote it as a thesis paper for my film class and couldn't share it publicly until it was graded. It's focused on the adaptation of No Country for Old Men from novel to film. Both forms of the story are very similar, but this video explores the technical translation and the application of cinematic tools and techniques by the Coens to realize the film.
Hopefully you guys enjoy.
I'm going to be moving up to university pretty soon. Video production is going to slow way down. I know I haven't produced that much content this year as I used to, and I'm sorry for that because I really would have liked to. Part of it is due to the fact that I'm busy with plenty of other things, and part of it is that I have to come up with an original idea before sharing it with you guys.
I'll keep in touch. I won't be ending the video essays any time soon.

Absolutely wonderful analysis, i love this film i just think no other flick has been made that surpasses this increidbly toughtful and dark story, maybe There Will be Blood or Sicario, apart from that, your toughts on the source material and the other works from McCArthy are very welcome! i´ve seen other analysis on No Country For Old Men, but yours is something new and fresh, i learnt alot from this and you gave me inspiration on the story im developing, kudos to the bashing of the adaptation of "The Road" i think the movie sucked bad! The book is really soulcrushing. I will recommend this channel to my friend to subscribe and will try to give you help on your Patreon Page, keep it up man! you have talent!
I think The Road was a more powerful movie, emotionally - however, No Country is the better film, by far.
It would be fun to react to all these young movie fans thare so obsessed with this movie & see walk into they're bedroom & see Anton sitting in a chair!!! I bet u they would vomit never worship or watch another film like this again 😂
