I thought the cha lua cut into thick flowers is genius and beautiful! And I also love the new design you have on the top right for your channel. The yin and yang symbol is very pretty!
Hahhaha ... I didn't do a good job cutting them into flowers this time though. I had the same colors in my old videos too but not many people noticed it so we changed the colors so they can stand out. Hehhehe ... I am glad you like the logo.
Glad you enjoy the video Sis 🥰! I started my BBH journey right after I got married which was more than 25 years ago. God ... countless of trials and errors ... going through so many recipes ... experimenting all kinds of combination of ingredients. This recipe is here to stay because it got approvals from my hubby and our 2 kids who are avid Phở fan LOL hehehe.
I love bun bo hue more than pho or bun rieu. Yours look yummy, and instructions are very clear. I do use pineapple and pork hocks when I make my bun bo hue though.
Thank you so much Sis 🥰! I have tried adding pineapple before but my family didn't like the fruity flavor especially my hubby was totally against it hehehe. He said, 'Adding pineapples only when we are short in bones." He even teased me by saying that he will give me more allowance to buy more beef bones so please leave out the pineapples lol 🤦🏻♀️. As for the pork hocks, we don't eat them even when we eat at restaurant ... always asked for BBH w/out Giò Heo 😉.
That's a GORGEOUS bowl of goodness you have there! I'm glad you showed the version that only uses beef since now people add pork and I always wonder why they call it bun BO Hue when there's pork in there. LOL! Then again, the cha lua have pork, so never mind. Hahaha!
Thank you so much Sis! I love reading your comments ... always smile reading them Sis 🥰😘🤗. My hubby and kids only care for BBH using cuts of beef and no pork nor pineapples. The chả Huế or chả lụa are toppings so leave them out/in and the broth won't be affected.
@@doodahgurlie For some reason, none of my family members like giò heo (pork knuckles). Only my hubby and I like pork blood in our BBH but not our kids lol. However my hubby is cutting down on the pork blood as well hehehe.
Most people who've eaten good bun bo Hue will choose it over pho, but many people will say bun rieu is their favorite noodle soup. :) I didn't grow up eating good bun bo Hue or good bun rieu, so it wasn't until I was older that I finally recognized the goodness that is bun bo Hue. Now I just need the best bun rieu so I can compare the two. Haha!
I am a Bún fan Sis. My favorites are BBH, Bún Riêu, Bún Chả Cá Nha Trang, Bún Măng Vịt, Bún Cá Ngừ, Bún Mọc ... I never say now to any of these Bún hehehe. Have you give my Bún Riêu a try Em?
@@SoSimYum No, I've not cooked it yet. I feel I need a bigger kitchen with bigger pots and a lot more people to feed before I make that effort. It's kinda hard eating all that by yourself as it takes a lot of effort. Not that I won't attempt it someday, but still. LOL! One bun you forgot to mention that I love is bun thit nuong. Sure it's a dry noodle dish, but I've always loved it. When I was younger, I preferred it over the brothy noodles. Now I love them equally, I guess. Just curious, will you be making that any time soon? Or make a curried version of it? My dad made the curry version with beef growing up so I loved eating that one.

Your link for your rice noodle video is broken. Can you please repost? It's been a while since I've used my Philip pasta maker. TIA
@@quelovesfood4365 Thanks for letting me know 🥰! I will update the link. You can also click on the iCard (in the video itself) to that video too.
