With no luck in the lake i changed rigs to a smaller hook and the lure this time would be dendrobeana worms,a good chance a perch or trout might just give me a bite?
That takes me back to my childhood fishing the little streams at the back of Kearsney Abbey with freelined worm. Never ceases to amaze me how incredible brown trout look. Great stuff mate.
Buy disgorger or some artery forceps - handling a fish in that way gives a very bad impression of our sport. Was that Trout out of season - the colours and background scene suggest that.
I agree with the comment about using a disgorger or forceps. The trout could easily have been damaged with a finger down its gullet.

They are stunning mate, shows just how little water or room they need to thrive.
Thats quite inspiring, many would overlook a small stream like that. Great vid
Thank you Simon,a mile further up the stream some deep holes have seen brown trout over 3lbs caught!
@wesleyshrubsole3531 wow, everything in perspective, that's really good size for a small stream, satisfying way to catch!
@@simonspeedo8122 Too right Simon a true monster from a little stream!

Why say your returning trout and you don't muppet
Hi Darren i did return the fish when it had recovered,i have found with game fish if you put them straight back they tend to struggle.
