That’s misinformation as I’m a jewelery designer..I know for a fact her pieces are gold and silver plated which means they will never tarnish if worn without spraying perfume on them..Each piece is handmade by artisans so yes it’s worth the money..

I was about to say, when you get a piece they even tell you that perfume is what'll make it tarnish in the care card that comes with it...

i have a vivienne westwood necklace and it’s made with cheap materials. mine tarnished and is black and i don’t wear perfume due to allergies. i take great care of it, and now it’s even broken due to normal wear.

Well isn’t that bad quality if you can’t wear them whenever? Stainless steel wouldve been a way better option. I have pieces that cost 50$ and less than that, haven’t tarnished yet and it’s been like 3 years lol

Idk about gold but if if it's plated it'll need to be replated at some point but Sterling silver will tarnish but you can get it cleaned and itll look brand new or do a hot water tin foil and baking soda mixture drop the ring in for a few mins and itll untarnish the silver.

I've never tried Westwood's jewelry but if it's sterling silver it's fine , from personal experience i have a lot of silver jewelry and when they start to tarnish you can clean them.

If it's sterling silver you can definitely pass it down to your grandchildren. It will tarnish but you can clean it up and it will look brand new

I have a few necklaces from her for years (2-4 depending on the necklace) and they still look brand new or almost brand new. You can see that they are well made and good quality. You just have to take proper care of them. I also have a ring that I wear EVERY DAY since 2020 and I just clean it from time to time and it looks as good as new.

Bought a ring from VW boutique in taiwan. The cubic zirconia diamond drop off within a day. Went back to the same boutique and the sales lady said she'll change a new one for me. Next day the same diamond fell off again 😊. Went to the closest outlet again for a refund but was not able to hence i trade it for a ear ring instead. Currently own one necklace (the orb has fall off and i resin stick it back for now) and 2 pair of earrings (one of the studs has broken off by now). Am i getting another VW product? Maybe yes maybe no. And tbh i am only buying them because of the manga NANA. (Sorry for my bad english).

Sterling silver is one of the best types of jewelry to buy. You just need silver cleaner and a couple of minutes to turn it back to its original silver tone.

It’s mostly not worth it based on materials. But design/cut takes extra work and cost. I don’t really like VW but when it comes to decent Saturn iconography/print/cut/design, idk why there hasn’t been better, but when looking for a Saturn design, VW has most beat, hands down. Hate to say it but 🪐 there’s not much decent Saturn designs out there.

Its much better to buy from jewelry stores like Michael Hill or any other ones in your area. Im from Australia so I mentioned this brand and I trust them but there are other ones too. Its not worth to buy from these brands such as Gucci, Balenciaga, VW and other brands alike. Remember that jewelries you can pawn are worth it because that means they have value.
