    My Cummins ISX. Smokes like that when you crank it in cold weather. If it is above 60 it doesn’t smoke at all. Same color smoke. And smokes till it reaches running temperature. Thanks for sharing 👊

      My 11.1 60 series also smokes white when its cold. But warm weather no issue. But man it will smoke up the world when its freezing outside. But stops when the engine warms up.

    Great video. New tool fabrication is always fun.

    Good info. My 6525 under load is losing power and puffing white smoke. Just checking around these videos for ideas. I was thinking injectors, but this is similar. My tractor don't smoke really when idling. idles pretty smooth. Thanks.

      @@tobiasphillips5312 yes. The fuel screen filter in tank was dirty.

    have a 6530 that misses & puffs like that on start up , once it warms up it goes away for a bit but does come back especially if idling down a hill.

    I was able to get to the back nut with 1/4 drive socket and a couple extensions

    Hey I have a mahindra max 26, won’t start unless it’s been plugged in, it use to start up in 20 degree weather without being plugged in, I had a bad glow plug , so I replaced all of them, then dealer told me it was timer, so I got one, it didn’t fix problem either. After I get it started , it will restart through out the day without being plugged in, wandered if you had any ideas

    How well has this tractor held up?

    How you adjust?

    Ok, so the Mahrinda people tell me that the piece you are pointing to is a fuel shut-off solenoid. It's not a cold start aid.

    I’m having the same issue. My injector pump has not been tampered with but I did have a problem with the wires being chewed up by rats. Specifically the 3 wire plug that goes to the round disk located at the top of the injector pump. I removed the half round clamp that holds the round disk and removed the disk. I repaired the wires and reinstalled the disk. I did not note the disk position before I removed it. If I put the disk back in a different position would it cause the white smoke issue.

      I'm not sure on that. I think some of these have the white smoke issue from factory.

    • @gregfox9687
      @gregfox9687 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Update: the round disk is the TPS. Throttle position sensor. I have a new one coming. If that doesn’t help the problem I’ll try your injector pump timing adjustment. I’ll let you know the results. My tractor starts easily. The smoking issue begins after about 3 minutes. It doesn’t smoke at idle. Along with the smoking issue there is a serious loss of power. Thanks for your video .

    • @gregfox9687
      @gregfox9687 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As I’m waiting for my TPS to be delivered I’ve had another though to run by you. My tractor cranks right up with no issues. It will run up to full governed rpm’s at that time. Running the throttle up and down with no problems for about 3 minutes. Then the smoking starts. If I reduce to idle/ 800 rpm the smoke goes away and stays away. If I slowly increase rpm’s it will produce more smoke. If I shut it down for a short cool down period the whole issue starts all over again. It goes without saying that when the intensity of the smoke is directly related to a significant loss of power. Could the smoking issue and loss of power be due to fuel starvation?
      Your thoughts are always interesting.

    • @LifeWithChase
      @LifeWithChase  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gregfox9687 yes that is possible. Could have a fuel restriction.

    • @gregfox9687
      @gregfox9687 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Problem solved. The clear vinyl fuel line on the output side of the fuel tank was the issue. I had checked all the fuel lines and clamps for leaks and tight clamps. The clamps were tight on the clear tube line clamps seemed tight enough but actually they were not tight enough. The vinyl line has gotten stiff ( not brittle ) so even though the clamps felt tight they were still allowing air to be sucked into the fuel line. Boy do I feel like a dummy! Live and learn. Thanks for the help.😉

    I just bought a 6530, its runs great like you said for 20 minutes then rough as a corn cob. Just curious how many hours did your tractor have in the video. Im pretty sure they swapped the dash for a lower hour tractor on mine, says 500 hours but im now finding a lot of issues with it. Thanks for the video.

    If removing the pump how do I remove the gear and do I need a special puller

    Advance the timing it's doing the same thing as the one in the video it's still doing it I can't get that white smoke and hesitation out of it any ideas

      Check to make sure you are getting good fuel to the pump, not sucking air or plugged line etc...

    I advanced the injector pump as per video but the engine light flashes a fault of wrong timing. What should I do ?

    • @LifeWithChase
      @LifeWithChase  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure what engine light you're referring to, but the obvious answer would be adjust back like it was so that the light doesn't flash... 😂. If you're referring to the emissions control system light with the little orange blinking ! I ignored that thing long ago...My green healthy light still comes on and as long as the tractor runs good I'm happy... with that being said I can't tell you what you should do. I can only share what I have done...
