First time PoE player (diablo convert), loving this series! Thank you for explaining the thinking behind every choice and change, helps so much with learning the game and inspires to try what works for me and not just copy the build. Keep it going!
I recommend moving up the passive tree along the middle path (near where blood mage is) and take the ability to break armour on heavy stuns. Game changer. Then you can use a support gem to explode when fully breaking armour.
I like your rework idea! Im around level 60 and did a re think of my build and got as much life regen and leech as i could, strength on most gear and am sitting at around 380 strength, 180 hp/ second using a shield with the giants blood. Low life hp regen hits like 400. And im feeling GOOD. Auto attack with around 9k dps makes me a boss killer and i can ignore most mechanics.
ALSO if you put the int gem that increases damage but reduces the aoe of skills in mace swing it barely effects the range but you get a huge dps boost.
Right next to the polymath 10% attribute node are some -% attribute requirement nodes for equip, could help with not needing to stack as much str. The 12% reduction gets effectively tripled of course when using giant's blood.
I just started a new playthrough as a warrior and I noticed something weird. With wasd movement I can use rolling slam while moving. I mean the initial couple steps before the hit. And with mouse control (which I preffer for melee) pressing the skill button half of the times stops the character. Did you experience the same problem?
Hi man, absolutely loving the PAO2 content. Couple questions here: where is your life leech coming from, solely from that support gem on mace strike? And why does block chance even exist? I thought that if you raise your shield, you simply block stuff. Hope you can find the time to answer. 🙂 Cheers!
I'm level 75 and have 98 passive points. I got 24 points from completing quests. My passive tree is marked with 104. How many passives should I have at level 75?
Question - why did you decide to not use double dual hands and instead swapped to mace + shield? I did some calculations and removed one of my two-hands and i get 38-52k dps on hammer of gods, with dual two-hands i get 46-65k. But with other spells I do get more DPS increase, although I deal less damage?? How does it actually work that way? Is this why you switched to shield, what are the benefits to be honest instead of having 2 two-handed weps and eat 30% damage penalty, but still do damage?
Dual wielding hits with both weapon at 0.7 of the damage. If your off hand is weaker than the main it can be a dps loss sometimes… Shield is incredible for defense.
Man you're really committing to titan's grip, it's mathematically impossible to keep up with my tier of requirement even with %requirement at the lowest. Best of luck. It'll work at 70+ eventually :)
i played titan got to level 76 3 days ago and i think yout gotta fix your tree and try to get a weapon with reduced attribute, that will lower the cost of strength by 30% also that botton right is light 10 points wasted
Instead of heading for the strength like you did, head on over to the other two-handed damage nodes even though they are a bit over on the dex side of the tree you said you wanted to stay away from.
@BajheeraWoW I have no dog in the fight. Was just watching his video yesterday and he says that Raise shield has 100% block so block chance isn't needed and is capped at 75% i believe
Nice build, copied it fully, went into a map and died instantly just like you. 10/10 Recommend.
Of course xD
Lmao! Mines pretty close to his, heavily focused into regeneration though.
I tried every possible scenarios with warrior then my friend with his monk came to party me and now i feel complete sh*t.

Glad you like them, plenty more on the way! 💪🏼🤩👍🏼

Just a stack of BEEF.

share your build link :)

@@cloakedbug4619 good to know , we’re gonna need some big strength to wear higher tier expert weapons 😅
역시 생각하는 건 다 비슷하군요. 제 빌드와 비슷해지고 있습니다. 방패는 필수 입니다.

Passive block is helping me a ton, lets me get the slow animations off without dying in maps 😂
I'm struggling to get enough strength to use dual wield 😢 waiting to finish 2nd trial in hopes the 50% bonus will get me there
That was the break point for me, once i get that done then it was much much easier to hit the required strength
Bro I went blood magic for all of act 2 up till the last boss. 45% lightning resist but damn he kicked my ass.
I miss it
It’s so nice 😅

Not even 30 seconds into the video he explicitly explains why he switched to using a shield.

What do you think of Kripparian's criticisms regarding current end game
Haven’t heard what he thinks, but I’m having a blast so far! 👍🏼
Is there a written guide?
NIIIICE!
Instead of heading for the strength like you did, head on over to the other two-handed damage nodes even though they are a bit over on the dex side of the tree you said you wanted to stay away from.
Definitely will look into this, thanks! 👍🏼
Kripp says block chance is useless
Interesting! I’ve found it to be super helpful 😅
