Thank you very much for the glowing review of my channel, you made my day! I work very hard to make the best videos I can for people so it's always nice to hear from subscribers. I really appreciate it. If you deem me worthy, I'd really appreciate it if you could share out my channel on your social media so I can help more people. Thanks for the watch and your support for the channel. Cheers!
Just wanted to say thank you from a VPIN cab installer who did all his configuration way back in 2020.... Your instructions helped me in 3 minutes remember the settings changes I did back many moons ago... In short upgraded to the latest b2s server...... For some reason lost all my DOF/LED for VPX..... Yup seemed "activate plugin on B2S" was now unchecked.... Forgot that 1 small part 3 years ago... THANK YOU SO MUCH for a really great quick nut/bolt video on this topic!!!
You're very welcome Aaron! Yeah it's the little finicky things that make or break these setups and it's easy to forget something. Glad I could help ya out. Thanks for the watch and hopefully I earned your subscription today. Cheers!
Oh man…what timing!! My pinmos/wemos literally arrived in the mail today!! These last 2 videos are AWESOME! SO very helpful. Thank you again for doing this series!!
This series has been awesome to watch, thank you! I struggled getting my matrix to work now for about a week. It would work fine in the arduino tool to test the LEDs but DOF was never able to initialize the COM port I selected. After a week of pulling my hair out I just re-loaded the strip controller file to my teensy and it started to work. Perhaps I didn't do that correct the first time, who knows. Thanks again for the great videos.
After watching your videos for awhile, I got myself an AtGames pinball for Christmas. I got a few mods already installed and have all the led stuff just laying around. I love your videos, my bank account hates them though. Wish I had the tools to do it properly like you. Thanks!
Your series is amazing. Probably the best on TH-cam! I always wanted to build my own 4k 120hz Widebody Virtual Pinball machine. I think I finally found an amazing and very well explained practical guide. I need to study more before I start but your content is just amazing. Thank you very much!
Wow, thanks! Glad you're enjoying the series and feel inspired to start your own vpin. You're gonna love this project! If you have any questions along the way, feel free to ask in the comments. Good luck on your build! If you deem me worthy, I'd really appreciate it if you could share out my channel on your social media so I can help more people. Cheers!

Thank you for making this video series. I am planning on starting my own virtual pinball adventure this summer. I’m trying to decide if I should go full cab or VR pinsim. I’m quite well versed on the software so it shouldn’t be too hard in that respect, but I’ve never built a cabinet before so this series has been a boon. Thanks again!
Another great video - results look amazing. Appreciate you walking through the combo configuration setup as it really enhances the options. Looking forward to a future "how to customize video effects" session and some future pinball configuration stuff.
Excellent video and definitely looking forward to the next one already. I may have missed it, but in case I'm not the only one, after testing LED strips you need to load the teensystripcontroller onto your board for it to be addressable.
Thanks Erik! Yeah you're right, you do have to have the teensystripcontroller on your teensy for this too work. I showed how to do this in the previous video where I generated a cabinet file using Arnoz's Tiny Tools. Thanks for the watch!
You're a natural for this virtual pinball journey. Watched a number of your videos and they're all informative and inspiring. I'm in the software phase but I'm basing my eventual build on your cab so I appreciate you WotW! I have Visual and Future Pinball installed and running. I have a computer monitor DMD like yours. Mine is rather bland at this point. Can you point me in the direction to utilize it like yours with multiple things happening on it full screen? Thanks much!
Thanks TomBas! Yeah I try to make my videos as entertaining and educational as possible so it's easy for people to learn, glad you appreciate it. If you deem me worthy, I'd really appreciate it if you could share my channel on your social media so I can help more people. More stuff on screen? Are you running desktop? 2 screens or 3 screens? Once it is setup, you just have to install the tables and play. Are you talking about the addressable leds? Thanks for the watch!
@@wayofthewrench You are most welcome WotW! My setup is the same as yours (3 monitors in cab mode). All I get on my DMD are the stock images so basically a 4:1 format on a partial screen. The rest of the screen is blank. I see yours is fully populated and animated. I've developed that love/hate relationship with computers as you mentioned in one of your vids. Thanks!
Great job, great video. What i would suggest is: the files you extract from the generated zip file from the website dof config_tool put them in the config subdirectory of the dof dir on the harddrive of the VP instead of the main dof folder where you put them It will work both but its less messy if you put them in the config sub_dir (and it makes it more logical as these files are telling something abouf the (individual) config for yor dof. Keep up the good work👍
Working on my rebuild and following a few of your videos... I love your speaker grills and the LEDS behind them... do yo have a link or description of what you purchased to put that together? Thanks!
Thanks! Yes there is a video or several on how I did it and all of my parts links should be in my parts video description. Those speaker grills were 3d printed and the STL file link is in that video as well. Hope that helps. Thanks for the watch and your support for the channel!
Thank you for providing the most user-friendly, simple instructions out there! I have DOF (32-bit and 64-bit) working for all of my tables except one (Tee'd Off). The Table Config list has all of the buttons that I assigned identified for this table, yet when I load Tee'd Off (in VPX or Popper), no DOF effects whatsoever. I even tried to copy/paste another table's config commands to the appropriate lines in Tee'd Off, but no such luck. Do you know of a solution where there is a one-off issue like this one? Thanks in advance for all you do!
Hrmm not sure as DOF always work for new tables for me unless it's new and I didn't update my config ( but I have the auto updater for my vpuconfig). Maybe try deleting all teed off files and try again? Update config files from vpuconfig? I'll see if I have time to see if I have an issue as Zi don't have teed off yet on my vpin. Cheers!
nice vid, thanks. What are you using to power the LEDs? Im running them off a 2nd PSU that Im also using for my video cards power, but somehow I blew a rail on that PSU because everything else is fine, but those wires are reading like 1 Volt now. Thinking of maybe using a dedicated 5V supply for this, but maybe just step down an adapter I already have, if the resulting max amps is enough.. thanks again
Thanks! I have a power supply video where I show how to install an ATX PSU and a mean well style switching PSU. Both work great. Thanks for the watch and welcome to the channel!
Awesome tutorial, has helped alot and I have DOF working in all tables for all toys and LEDs, but for some reason can't get the side rail LEDs working in popper front end like it does in your video when pressing flipper buttons. DOF in popper has been set to true. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. 👍
Apologies, this is the video I needed to comment on. I'm nor seeing the direct output on the plugins settings list. Does the teensy need to be hooked up for it to be listed? I also read somewhere only have one B2s on your system, through my installs I seem to have a copy in the tables folder and in the Visual Pinball folder and I'm not sure which one it's calling on. Thank you as always
Teensy has nothing to do with the plugin. It uses the plug in but it doesn't make it listed. So DOF can be setup 100% correctly before the teensy is even plugged in. So if you don't have the plugin, you might have missed a step. Keep in mind there are other videos to get cabinet files etc too. Good luck!
Hey WOTW I saw that you have extra buttons by the flippers what do you use those for? I'm debating on whether I need to drill holes and pop in some extras. Cheers!
Those are for tables that have magna saves ( extra flippers that guard out lanes). I now also use them for Pinvol functions as well so I highly recommend you put them in. Thanks for the watch!
Well I successfully got the test pattern to work on my matrixes. but somehow it its stuck on this and not sure how to get it back to normal operation. Thanks for all your videos...Have helped countless people for sure. Any help here??
Your teensy is stuck on the test pattern flash. You have to reflash it to the teensy strip controller. It doesn't always flash the first time. Good luck!
WOW thank you so much for your tutorials and attention to details. I've enjoyed your series immensely. Has anyone reached out to you about Config tool on vpuniverse not allowing them to log into the site. I myself hit a cross roads. I have all steps and programs loaded and ready. However, I'm unable to log into vpuniverse config tool screen. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
You are so very welcome, glad you're enjoying the series. When I was using that site, it was sometimes hard to login too but usually it would eventually let me in. I'm not sure what the issue is but I would guess it's on their end so not much you can do about it. Thanks for the support for the channel. Cheers!
For 32 bit and 64 bit, do you duplicate everything in separate parent DirectOutput folders, including registering each version? I did see where that may be an outdated way of doing it and instead installing both 32 and 64 bit versions in the same DirectOutput folder, eliminating the need to maintain 2 sets of files. But currently, I've set up Directoutput and DirectOutput64 and maintaining duplicates. I didn't know whether to register the 64, I saw one guy's video where he said not to do that.
I have a video on how I upgraded to 64 bit but it may not be the current way or maybe it is. My next build will have the newest baller installer so I'm hoping it's an automatic thing. If not, I'll look into the new way but I know how I did it works. Hope that helps. Thanks for the watch!
Thank-you, These are great tutorials. I watched this one and tried to set this up I have made sure the MSI installer wasn't blocked then I installed the DirectOutput. Everything seemed fine I checked that the dll files weren't blocked and set all the executables in the DirectOutput folder to Run as Administator just like the tutorial it seemed like the Direct output would show up in the backglass as an active input but it didn't show up. There must be a way it can be manually registered. I did this on two computers. My desk where I practice setting things up up and my pincab. Both get the same result. What am I doing wrong?
I would go through the video again step by step, if it's not showing up in the backglass as active... something got missed. There is the RegisterDirectOutputComObject.exe that might let you manually register it. Thanks for the watch!
Hello, thanks for the great tutorial. I downloaded and installed the latest DOF (Windows Setup MSI) according to the instructions. Unfortunately, when I right-click on B2S under Plugins, no DOF appears. What am I doing wrong?? Thank you in advance.
Thanks. With these programs, they can be really finicky with how the steps are done . I would suggest watching again and ensure it is done step by step. Also often a windows defender or firewall or folder not unblocked can prevent them from working. Hope that helps. Thanks for the watch!
I got it all set up! Your video was extremely helpful. One issue….when I first boot up (straight to Popper from setup… My addressable LED’s do not turn on…even with a button push. Have to exit the frontend and restart it…then they come on. Any ideas? Thanks for any advice.
Awesome! Glad I could help ya out! There's about a 10 to 15 second delay until it works and then you need to push a flipper button to start the leds. Other than that, did you do the pinup popper script change to turn on leds like in the video? Thanks for the watch!
“Also…gotta ask… what table version of “Aliens” do you have rolling there…dont believe I have seen that?” 😊 Yeah it all works fine…its only on initial boot up. Thinking about delaying Popper as a “task”…
This is the table I think....www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=12406 Not sure why it wouldn't work but then work....maybe something is not in the start up folder?
This is probably a dumb question but i'm having DOF issues. My 'cabinet' file is called 'Cabinet' you dont see the .xml. Click on properties and it's clearly an .xml file but windows is only showing the pre-extension part of the name. Issue?
It could be the issue. You can try to rename it and see if that works. If not, I'd go through the entire process again and see where you might have made a mistake. Good luck!
Wow. I am so new to this. I am running pinball fx right now, and have a skeleton pinball machine. No cabinet yet just parts kind of working, solenoids, dmd, 39" screen, exciters. I know there are so many options. How far back should I watch your videos. What is out of date? I got my feet wet with the pinball fx, but want to install the virtual pinball also.
Awesome! Glad you found the channel. As I filmed this series in order of my build, I would highly suggest you watch from the beginning so it doesn't get confusing or you miss put on crucial info not discussed in later videos. You got this! Enjoy the series and your build! Cheers!
i followed your video but for some reason i dont see the diret output plugin on my b2s did you do something else thats not in the video before you installed dof
I may have but I tried to keep the parts separate during filming. I would go back to the first testing LEDs and then watch from then on. Hope that helps.
Hello, I did exactly what you said in the video but my Teensy controller is running the standard Basictest and does'nt care what table I play. What have I done wrong ?
OK I got through the previous video again and now I´ve got my 5 flahers working. They are controlled by the KL25Z board (Piggy back version). I have no matrix installed because I found that a little too distracting. Unfortunately the LEDs of my playfield, speakers and undercabinet still don't do anything. I've been thinking and maybe it has something to do with the fact that I've got the 64-bit of the Baller Installer installed instead of the 32 bit of your video ?
did full reinstall all toys and lights test ok all works when running front end but soon as as i load table and play no light or toys im at a loss any idea all files are in correct place from what i can tell the only thing i c diffrent is 2 plugin folders in table one is 64 which im not using just the plugins i have tried both but same problem is the something i have to enable somewhere cheers
Did you create a vpuconfig account and save those files in the correct folder? These will tell DOF what each table is doing in DOF. These things can be tricky. I recommend following along through the video once again to see where something was missed. Hope that helps. Also if you have 64 installed, you should check out my upgrade 64 video as I lost my DOF when I did that. Cheers!
I did the log thing and found that sure enough, DOF can’t find the com port the teensy is supposed to be on. Trying a different cable next. Cant get my pc to see the teensy when plugged in. Only com port in device manage is COM1.
Try to confirm what com port the teensy is in and if it pops up when you plug it in. It might not be working because the teensy is not found. Hope that helps. Good luck!
took me while to figure out that vpx 10.7.4 64bit version does not load the DirectOutput so my solenoid would not work. I had to run the vpx 10.7.4 32bit version for it to have everything work.
Glad you got it figured out! I haven't done the 64 but upgrade yet but I'm sure there needs to have a file/folder related to DOF transferred to the 64 but folder and it should work. I'll post either a video or instructions in the video description when I do. Cheers!
loving your videos and am trying to make some changes on sketchup but want to compare to your cabinet, Do you have the actual xml for sketchup i cant get the file to covert back from your pdf and keep getting an error.
Didn't even know you could convert pdf to sketch up. Sorry but I don't share those files as I have had other TH-camrs trying to copy my work and say it's theirs. Feel free to use my dimensions from the pdf to make your in Sketchup or in real life. Cheers!
Do the config files downloaded from DOF Config Tool need to be copied to the DirectOutput folder and the DirectOutput64 folder or does the 64bit plugin read the configs from the 32bit folder?
@@wayofthewrench I figured as much and have watched all your videos, but must have missed the part about needing in both folders. Seems like lots of guides don't mention it. Thanks for the confirmation.
Please help All my lights work on vpx and future pinball but not on my pinup popper, player, i had it working before and still work when i play table through pinup but i don’t have led when i am navigating on tables Please help
I would watch the video again and find the spot about adding lines to pinup popper. It's either there or perhaps if you upgraded to 64 but, it needs the DOF files in the 64 but folder too. Cheers!
Hey WOTW, me again. I'm not seeing the direct output option on the list in plug-in settings,. I tested my teensy on another machine, so does it need those files too before it shows up within the b2s software?
The procedure I went through in this video is how it should be done and in order so if you're not seeing the plugin, you might have missed a step. Keep in mind this was x86 and not the x64 setup yet so if your putting on x64 bit than those files will need something copied over to. Hope that helps.
Salut et merci pour cette vidéo au top ,je rencontre un probleme avec le "Plugins" sous VPX mes leds reste éteinte quand je joue à une table ,par contre dansPiup tout fonctionne parfaitement
It's really hard to troubleshoot individual issues but what I recommend is that there are like 5 or 6 videos in order that relate to this and you should rewatch them to check what got missed. Led set up, cabinet file, DOF set up, etc. Good luck!
Great work and fantastic videos, thanks. But i realy need help.. Do I absolutely need a teesy to realize the project or is an Arduino Uno enough? If so, how does it all work?
A teensyduino is a lot faster and way more capable than your standard Arduino. It not that much more than an arduino either so the teensy really is the better choice. That being said, the teensy is just a microcontroller that runs a program that gets inputs from the pc (visual pinball) and sends out a digital signal to the addressable leds to light up. The teensy has a teensystripcontroller program that sends out the signals to match what the front end or table wants. I recommend watching the series as the earlier videos teach everything you need to know to get this setup. Thanks for the watch!
I used a teensy 3.2 and the octo board ( don't think there is a version for this). Pjrc.com should have them both. The 4.0 teensy is a bit more powerful but should work too.
Thank you again. I ordered an teensy 4.0, because a 3.2 version is hard to find in Germany. I hope it works.. Sorry, but i have one more question: I dont understand the Part with the Terminal Block.. Did i need everything Else for that? Maybe a powersupply from 230v to 5v to connect it with the Terminal Block?.. Sorry for my Bad englisch
The terminal block is just a way to have all of the 5v or 12v or common grounds together. If you're running your led strip power, you can just run the wires straight from the power supply. Just watch the earlier videos, it's meant to be watched in a series. Cheers!
Not that I know of. As far as I know you need the VPU Config website to make your file. Maybe someone else will chime in here though. Thanks for the watch!
Great video. I'm following along but get stuck trying to access DOF config tool. I can log into VPUniverse, however cannot log into DOF config tool. Anybody having this problem?
Yeah I have that problem too, sometimes it takes forever to get in. As far as I know this is normal. Keep trying and let it load....might take like 3-5 minutes.
awsome video have followed step by step just cant seem to get it to communicate probably a program or file something simple thanks again for all your hard work
Thanks Travis. I had someone else tell me the same thing and I told them to go through the video again...step by step. They found they messed up on one little step and then it worked so be careful and don't miss a step or put a file in the wrong spot. Good luck, you got this!
@@wayofthewrench noticed b4 coming to work while looking at my cabinet file it said toy 1 toy 2 toy 3 and that is not in the copy of your cabinet file so hopefully I will rewrite it to match exactly and maybe it will work I noticed after programming my teensy the orange light flashes on my teensy every 5-6 seconds also only other thing I can think of is what kind of file or app opens cabinet xml and b2s config.server thank you for your response very appreciated been trying to get this to work for a looonnngggggg time 😬😁
No worries, glad you enjoyed them! If ya deem me worthy, I'd really appreciate it if you could share out my channel on your social media so I can help more people. Thanks for the support!
I feel so bad to asking you again😭🫣 But there is only one thing left that is Not working.. My led rings for the speakers. And i cant figure it out. In arduino (standalone) everything works fine. But in Popper no lights on the speaker. Anything iam doing wrong. But i have no more ideas. Maybe you can help me up again?thx
I would suggest you watch my videos again, it's really easy to miss one thing and it doesn't work. Did you add speakers to the configtool? Is the port right? You have power and the correct signal wire to the led rings? In configtool, what are you using for your led rings ( playfield mx?) Is the signal wire from your teensy shared with other led strips or on its own? Did you test these with basic led test? What's your lines say in your cabinet file say for the rings? Good luck!
@@wayofthewrench Yes, speakers are added to the config tool. The port is also correct. In the Config tool I use speaker mx for the LED rings. What do you mean with playfield mx? There is no Playfield mx in the config tool.. Did the LED rings also need extra 5v Power like the led strips or the matrix? Because the led rings works fine in basic led test Mode without extra 5v power. The Signal from my teensy is sharing with 2 led stripes and a matrix. And what Do you meen with "What's your lines say in your cabinet file say for the rings?" so much questions, sorry..
Sorry not playfield but back mx. Maybe try changing it to what ever works for your matrix and see. I think you need to copy/paste your cabinet.xml file's lines of code for the leds so I can go through it.
@@wayofthewrench sorry that iam so stupid but what do you mean with "I think you need to copy/paste your cabinet.xml file's lines of code for the leds so I can go through it"? Does that mean i have to copy and paste all my lines from my cabinet.xml to here? And did i need an extra 5v power supply for the led rings (like the same how my pf led stripes and my matrix)? Because i only plugged the led Rings in my last led pf led stripe. Iam wondering because with this configuration my led rings also work in the basic led test Mode but not in cabinet..
No worries....you actually told me some pretty significant info. If your speaker rings worked in basic ked test, then the signal and power is ok, just 2 things it could be. Either you have something wrong in the vpuniverse configtool ( wrong port, wrong led count, wrong led amount) or your cabinet.xml file is wrong for the speaker ring section. If you send me your cabinet.xml file, I can take a look.
You're welcome. DOF config ini tool? Are you talking about the vpuniverse config tool? If so that is in my previous video(s). Just check the vpin playlist. Thanks for the sub and welcome to the channel!
Did you watch the earlier 3 videos? I show how to test leds and generate you caninet.xml file which is all needed to test before DOF. It only takes one little missed step and things won't work. You using a teensy and octo board? Thanks for the watch!
I’ve been following since you started. Thank you by the way. Your videos are wonderful!!!! I couldn’t get my hands on a teensy so I got a wemos. Most of the steps look to be similar except for which board I have. I made a cabinet file last week with your video and tested all my strips etc. the week prior. I’ll have to go through again. Just thought that symptom might sound familiar
Where did you learn about the need to solder pins 15-16 together? I've been searching for a source reference about this. Is it always needed (and why) or it it only sometimes (when)? thx th-cam.com/video/zMZ1PhkxwbM/w-d-xo.html
I can't tell you if it's mandatory but at first I didn't do it and I had every single led turn full white.....no color/switching. Then I did it and everything was perfect. I can't remember where I read this but it might have been from the vpin builder's Facebook group post or Major Frenchy videos. Thanks for the watch!

Thanks!
Yeah they can be tricky sometimes. Good luck!
Great job, great video.
What i would suggest is: the files you extract from the generated zip file from the website dof config_tool put them in the config subdirectory of the dof dir on the harddrive of the VP instead of the main dof folder where you put them
It will work both but its less messy if you put them in the config sub_dir (and it makes it more logical as these files are telling something abouf the (individual) config for yor dof.
Keep up the good work👍
Thanks Jurgen! Good suggestion, I'll try that in the future. Thanks for the watch and for supporting the channel. Cheers!
Awesome as always. Very clear. Alt color DMD files are a little finicky sometimes if you are looking for things to make videos on.
Thanks! Altcolour is on my list for videos to make! Thanks for the suggestion!
Very nice my friend great work love your content.
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome! Glad I could help you out. Here is a link to help ya out with the PinupPopper led issue. www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=hardware
Does the led matrix obscure the table with reflections?
No not at all. I was worried too but even with the glass, it is great. Thanks for the watch and welcome to the channel!
“Also…gotta ask… what table version of “Aliens” do you have rolling there…dont believe I have seen that?” 😊
Yeah it all works fine…its only on initial boot up.
Cheers!
Nice Work....I´m impressed....Thanks for sharing your knowledge....
Thanks! No worries, cheers!
i followed your video but for some reason i dont see the diret output plugin on my b2s did you do something else thats not in the video before you installed dof
That means the hex file for teensy strip controller didn't flash properly. Keep trying until it sticks. Thanks for the watch!
@@wayofthewrench Thank you for your reply. I will replay video #29 again and look for it.😊
OK I got through the previous video again and now I´ve got my 5 flahers working.
Good luck!
I have it for the tables, but not the front end. Set to "true" and nothing. Is there a script i should be searching for?
Check your spelling in the pinup script, make it exactly like in the video. Hope that helps. Thanks for the watch!
@@wayofthewrench Will do . Thank you. I'll give an update ASAP
took me while to figure out that vpx 10.7.4 64bit version does not load the DirectOutput so my solenoid would not work.
Cheers!
Hello,
where can I buy a teensy board already put together. I have matrix and addressable led
Pjrc.com should have them, not sure about pre soldered ones.
Do the config files downloaded from DOF Config Tool need to be copied to the DirectOutput folder and the DirectOutput64 folder or does the 64bit plugin read the configs from the 32bit folder?
Yes they do, I have a great video on upgrading to 64... You should check it out. Thanks for the watch!
@@wayofthewrench I figured as much and have watched all your videos, but must have missed the part about needing in both folders. Seems like lots of guides don't mention it. Thanks for the confirmation.
No worries. Cheers!
Please help
All my lights work on vpx and future pinball but not on my pinup popper, player, i had it working before and still work when i play table through pinup but i don’t have led when i am navigating on tables
Please help
I would watch the video again and find the spot about adding lines to pinup popper. It's either there or perhaps if you upgraded to 64 but, it needs the DOF files in the 64 but folder too. Cheers!
anyone know on the b2s screen plugins is the only 1 plugin that is pinuplayer display driver or should there also be a directout put plugin
Whatever is shown in the video is correct. I can't remember exactly as I haven't looked at that screen in a long time. Good luck!
@@wayofthewrench ah yes. It might be a 64 but situation.
have you figured out how to get it going with 64?@@johnr8898
I haven't done the upgrade yet but Game Central or Rudy both have a video on doing the 64 but upgrade.
Hi, I'm Alex, I would like the pup pack vpx Terminator 2 , Have you this ?Thank you
No, I don't even have the table yet. Look at VPUniverse, they should have it. Thanks for the watch!
Thank You for your help!
You're very welcome, thanks for the watch! Cheers!
@@wayofthewrench thank you so much for the answer. But you you Tell please what teensy Version und octo Version Do you use?
Cheers!
Great series, very informative. Has anyone found a work around to dof config tool web page not working?
Not that I know of. As far as I know you need the VPU Config website to make your file. Maybe someone else will chime in here though. Thanks for the watch!
Appreciate this fast response, I'll wait to see if anyone else came across this issue:)
Did you get though? It goes down all the time
Great video.
Add mine to the list of common fixes - plug your LED strip into the correct port on your Teensy! D’oh
Oh yeah? It doesn't take much to make DOF not work.....just one little thing! Thanks for the watch, cheers!
awsome video have followed step by step just cant seem to get it to communicate probably a program or file something simple thanks again for all your hard work
Thanks Travis. I had someone else tell me the same thing and I told them to go through the video again...step by step. They found they messed up on one little step and then it worked so be careful and don't miss a step or put a file in the wrong spot. Good luck, you got this!
@@wayofthewrench noticed b4 coming to work while looking at my cabinet file it said toy 1 toy 2 toy 3 and that is not in the copy of your cabinet file so hopefully I will rewrite it to match exactly and maybe it will work I noticed after programming my teensy the orange light flashes on my teensy every 5-6 seconds also only other thing I can think of is what kind of file or app opens cabinet xml and b2s config.server thank you for your response very appreciated been trying to get this to work for a looonnngggggg time 😬😁
Did you look at my generate a cabinet file and programming teensy video?
@@wayofthewrench yes definitely
I work 2nd shift so hopefully around 9 tonight I will have them working thank you again.
thx for your guides videos!!
No worries, glad you enjoyed them! If ya deem me worthy, I'd really appreciate it if you could share out my channel on your social media so I can help more people. Thanks for the support!
Great content again!
Glad you enjoyed it, cheers!
If you send me your cabinet.xml file, I can take a look.
thanks for the tutorial...really helped me a lot....can you just show how to use the DOF Config ini pull program?... +1 sub :)
You're welcome. DOF config ini tool? Are you talking about the vpuniverse config tool? If so that is in my previous video(s). Just check the vpin playlist. Thanks for the sub and welcome to the channel!
I feel like I followed your video but all I get is a red green blue flash at the beginning of each table then nothing.
I went through your video again and figured it out. Saved my dof config file to the wrong folder. Thank you again for all your hard work!
Awesome! Glad I was able to help ya out. If you send me a dm in instagram, I'd love to see your dof leds!
