What about making a Tutorial for DayZ? Like how to get started? Because of you, i reinstalled the game but after 1 Hour of running i felt lost, i didn´t know how to get food/weapons/armor, i googled a little bit but sadly i only found a bunch of old tutorials, it would be interesting what exactly do you do after you respawn, which route you take, good loot spots and stuff.
Number one don't waste time at the coast. Best is to run inland and search for loot there. play with a map on another screen or in steam and check where you are and plan your route.
You can find apples on trees or kill animals if you dont find canned food anywhere.
No, you need to stick to the town you spawn in until you get some food and water (look for apple trees and water pumps) and only then head inland. Other than that just loot every building. If you kill someone or see a dead player and you have a knife, skin him and eat him. Same for chickens. You don't have to cook meat (yet). Generally speaking, there isn't much to it other than getting the feel of the land. Its really not hard once you get the hang of it. Keep playing.

He got killed of the lagg. For him he was behind the stairs, but for the campers he was on the bottom of the stairs. He probably has 150 ping or more.

So are head shots with melee weapons no longer a thing? I just hopped into Beta and my only option with a fire axe is to hit a zombie or player 5-10 times in the body, no matter how head level I aim.

Speaking as a big player of both dayz mod and dayz, I've always felt the big issue with the game is the communal disconnection - Players like M1NDR are very interested in the tension of the game - gaining and keeping loot while engaging in firefights and moving through cities, but many players are also interested in the... roleplay, I guess of the game. Not necessarily roleplay but being able to meet other players, maybe team up, maybe go separate ways, come to an agreement etc. In Dayz Mod it was heroes and bandits. The game can't exist without both, but it can't really cater to both KoS players and talkative players.

Anyone know how to fix ADS in .063? Seems that I can’t change the controls even after hitting “apply”.... the number pad plus is a really awkward position.
