(Also, (seen in last clip) when playing with no HUD there needs to be some sort of visual & sound indicator when switching zeroing and firing mode, just like Escape From Tarkov.)

To be fair, I watched Topes PoV and you had more than enough time to rush the 2 that were focused on Tope and kill them. You took your sweet ass time.
First, I was limping and couldn't get there earlier. Second, if a guy shoots the zombie in the doorway 2 seconds before you're about the enter it, it's probably not a good idea to straight run into his sights and get shot yourself. Third, even then there would still have been one more guy that would've rushed him.
like M1NDR already said, he could have got there in time but he was limping because he unfortunately fell off the stairs which was bullshit game engine imo

Can someone explain why 90% of DayZ videos look like absolute shit most of the time, even on 1080p + ? Someone once said that the grass causes a problem with bitrate and youtube, blah blah, but some DayZ videos don't have this problem. Anything I can do on my end to fix this?

I found an SVD with a mag yesterday, I had quite a lot of ammo for it.
I ran to the middle of a forest and dropped it.
An SVD should never be used for anything but killing.

Why was your reticle light red on the last clip and not before, is it a different scope? I have had this only one time but it was off a person i killed who had it, id love to know how to do this for myself in game.

So how is the SVD the best weapon? Can’t truly determine until all weapons are in, as they all handle different and best weapon will vary for each play style.
Azn Sensation True. I don't really play DayZ (Last time was about 3 years ago) but I do play CSS and the same thing applies there. The "Best Weapon" will vary with each play style.
Most versatile, most damage, great in close-quearters due to fure rate and super accurate at long range. I agree meta surrounding guns constantly changes, but on paper the SVD is the top dog.
SVD is a great weapon in RF, made for almost everything. If they will add a weapon that is better than SVD (overall) it would have to be some DMRs from this century = really new/ very modern like L129 (looks like M4 but better) or just SVU making it a better SVD for close quarters. And even in comparison to these, SVD is still a great rifle. I had a ton of fun shooting it when i was in the army.
MMh in its current version is kind of OP because it as very low recoil. Normally you shouldn't be able to keep your sights on the target that easily especially at long ranges. A higher recoil should induce more time between shots to aim.
Ay that is pretty OP, nice video, but I know a few people that are not a fan of exploiting the suppressor bug
Anybody else find that bullets arent doing anything sometimes. I rage quit and havent played since content update exp when I hit a dude 3 time with blood spurts from a mosin and he turned and 1 hit killed me with an ak. Toperec on stream shot a dude clean in the head with an fnx and it didn't do anything and he ended up dying aswell. So frustrating
Jack Mosher Yes. Its like they keep getting hit and it does nothing and they shoot once and its a black screen and i dont even get a chance. Just dead. Its happened to me so many times. Came up behind a guy and sprayed him with that small ak with a suppresor, atleast half a mag and he turns and one shots me with a pistol
They supposedly fixed that in their last content update.But you know Dayz lol.
I think they managed to fix it for PC, but it's still a apparantly still a problem on Xbox.
@@M1NDR I hope so. I probably won't start playing again for a while cause exp still has a lot of issues like the unbreaking bottle suppressor and other things
@@M1NDR huge problem on xbox. I have lost at least 5 full kitted characters do to my guns magically start shooting mash mellows or blanks, when they were killing zombies no problem moments or a relaod earlier. Logging out & back in does nothing, dropping all parts to the gun, empty & reload the mags, use every other mag you have.....nothing.
I found a dupers base and chose to take 5 vsd instead of 5 m4s. Was kinda regretting it until I watched this vid lol

SVD and FAL are equal in my opinion, and considering the acog and the pso-1 are both 4x, I will more than likely be searching for a FAL over an SVD when it releases due to it's 20 round mag capacity. But as of right now, I agree. Best gun in the game for sure.
I'm not a hundred percent sure but I think that they magnified the Acog way to much in the game-definitely not 4x more like a 8x.Same for the PSO-1.
Still think the SVD beats the FAL on range. We'll see how the guns get balanced when we see them all in-game.
Do you know how to use the reticle on the PSO1?

Hey @M1NDR is there a purpose for undressing your fallen teammates?
Does it make the gear *not* de-spawn or something perhaps?
Resets de-spawn timer of the clothes to 30 minutes instead of the body de-spawning after 10.
I prefer the LAR better. Due to its sights and it's just as powerful.
