Taking a look at the Junctek KG110F 100A smart shunt! A smart shunt is basically a V/A or power meter that checks the energy that flows into or out of a battery or basically any power supply. This particular one is limited to 100A and 120V but that is plenty for my needs!

I've always thought it interesting that a lot of the display type style and layouts are the same or very similar on the screens of a lot of the various Chinese metering systems.

I'm not sure but i think the power is intended to be an either/or (internal vs external). In that configuration you're operating outside of spec. (I believe) That said, thank you very much for all your content and time!

This type of shunt would typically have 50mv drop across it.
