    A few aspects you may want to consider when reviewing: Actually connect to a battery to show how it works by charging, discharging with no load and with load. Discuss how to set the Capacity and what happens when it is 100%. The last aspect is what I personally was looking for in figuring out how the meter will reset the capacity automatically when parameters are set in the Advanced Settings area. I have noticed that it does NOT reset once fully charged when showing 0.00 in discharge mode which is what happens when my batteries reach full charge. The manual does imply that it will reset when set parameters are reached while in charge mode so thus far it has never reset the 100% capacity for me.
    I have the KH160F and really like it so far---I have seen many reviews stating that it also very accurate...sometimes even more so than a Victron monitor.

      Hi Mike, first my appologies for this late reply, a lot of comments a very time, I'm on holidays and trying to catchup. You gave very insightful tips, I didn«t have before, but now I do have something that can help in better testing it. I will try to see in the next reviews if I can get a better setup. Thanks for watching and your nice comment.

      Hi, is it is really nice device, not many changes from the previous version, but the shell to protect the connections was really needed, almost perfect now... just missing the wifi connection! 😁 Thanks for watching.

    Installed one of these last week in my ford ranger twin cab.
    2 x lithium batteries in the back to run a fridge and inverter. Installation was reasonably straight forward.
    I bought a plastic control box from our local auto / electronics store and mounted the controller inside and the display in the lid. This put all the wiring in one spot.
    The shunt lead to the controller is very short and should be longer - are you listening Mr Manufacturer?
    I included my dcdc controller in the circuit and all worked out well.
    I am going to install a switch in the display positive feed wire to see if this will turn off the display when required. I use the app and it works well as well.
    For the price I,m happy with the product.

    I have a KH160F as well as a KG140F. Although I like the GUI of the H140, the G160 allows for voltage and current calibration

    Bonjour chaque fois que je me connecte avec mon Android sa revient à 100% de la batterie même quand elle est a 80% .il y a un réglage a faire ?

      Hi, I don't think so, probably is just some sensor mal function or different way of reading the charge available. Thanks for watching.

    You mentioned it has a RJ11 connector...it actually is the smaller RJ9.

    Hello, it is possible to communicate that device with a PLC? Using RS 485?

    Hello, If I want the battery pack to only charge at 10A do I just click on current icon on the app ? or is there something else I need to do the battery pack bms setting so it doesn't charge above 10A ?

      Hi, this allow you to measure the charging/discharging and capacity. Will not limit or set the current or voltage during charging. Thanks for watching.

    Hello! Thank you for creating this video! I have a question regarding its usage. Can the kl110f be used with cars or car starter batteries? If yes, do I need a larger shunt due to the spike in current caused by the car starting? I want to monitor parasitic drain current, which is under 1A. However, I'm unsure if I need a larger shunt as my car battery has 500-600 cold crank amps (Honda Element 4.2L, 4 cylinder). I've seen many people using this product in RVs, but I'm not sure if they're using it on their starter battery or on their secondary/leisure battery only. I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. Unfortunately, I'm unable to reach the manufacturer.

      HI, I'm not really into auto electronics/electrical usage. I think you'll be alright, just need to set the OCP to a secure threshold so it will not damage the device. The sensor is pretty robust as you can see in the video. But in doubt, you can always buy the 600A version 😁 that should handle anything up to that range. Thanks for watching.

    Hi, thanks for this review, very helpful.
    Do I have to connect the controller power supply lead to the positive battery post or can I take power from a bus bar, if I can take power from a bus bar, what fuse size should I use to protect the supply cable and the controller.
    Thank you if you can help with my questions.

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, sorry for the delay. If the sensor is between the bus bar and the battery, I don't see any problem with that. The idea is to identify what get in and out of the battery, so it should be between the battery and the rest of the installation. Thanks for watching.

    How mush is the power consumption on the meter it self ?

      Hi, I don't have that here, but you should be able to see it on the product page of the device, you have a link in the video description. Thanks for watching.

    Nice. Not suppressing the leading zeros is irritating and make it more difficult to read.

    Unfortunately still no capacity protection ..
    it will be very useful for LiFePo4 batteries which close to flat discharge curve voltage under load.
    And fo Acid batteries as well because its capacity not strongly correlates with voltage.. voltage more correlates with load at the moment.

      Hi, yes i think it was more "almost" a cosmetic improvement. The sensor case is very important, but in the controller is basically the same with better design. I'd love to see some Tuya integration in this. Thanks for watching.

    Hi, I have seen that the 100a version has a shunt of 200a. Does the unit measure above 100a ? Or is it sotfware limited ? Thanks. It is to know if during a short time I am, for example, at 120a, it will measure correctly or it will limit up to 100a. Thanks.

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, the unit is the same for all of the models, only the sensor is able to withstand different amounts of current. So, if you use a 100A on 200A live line, it will probably measure it up to the point it kills the sensor. This is just my opinion, not bsased on any specific feature. Thanks for watching.

    Can you tell me how you install android application ? Because dowload app is a .zip and wich file you lauch the app android in zip ?
    Do you use upgrade firmware because it need a code ?

    • @TechCornerTV
      @TechCornerTV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, after the download, you have to rename the zip file to be able to install the application, I show on the video. Rename it for instead of ending with .zip, ends with .apk, That it. Thanks for watching.
