Hey Solidus, I don't upload videos, but I know the ratio of subscribers to views of a video is important to an uploader. As an example, the Grumps have over 3 million subs, but are lucky to get half a million to watch a video. So, how does it feel to see most of your subs watch a video?
+Azzabackam it feels fantastic. Although most of my views probably come from posting it on the subreddit or discord, it always feels good to see the view count jump over my sub count in a day or two.
Woolie experienced the souls series in such a weird order. I feel lucky I got to play Demons before Dark Souls 1 came out. So I could act like a hipster.
That first fight reminds me of howi was introducing my buddy to ds1 and he fucking beat the first demon with the shit sword you start with, as well as not knowing how to heal properly. He would go into the item-menu and manually choose estus. It was fucking crazy, because he didn’t even realize it’s significance Unfortunately he didn’t actually maintain much interest after the opening
Thanks again, Solidus. I'm not gonna lie, I got super salt watching these streams. I feel like A German Spy kinda ruined the experience for Woolie by telling him everything about the game. Maybe that's just my opinion. Regardless, thanks for editing it down for us.
Ehh, I actually really love Spy. Franz has a great voice and honestly guides woolie well enough. Remember, Pat himself said that he hated Demons souls and had multiple failures at getting in to it, and only learned to love it by having a guide hold his hand. This game is absurd.
@@Saramusvasque2838 Just because Pat is bad at the game and doesn't appreciate exploration and discovery that doesn't mean Woolie would be the same way. Definitely agree that German Spy unintentionally ruined the experience.
Vanguard was the easiest boss for me when I played this for the first time. Granted, I had experienced and beaten Asylum Demon long before I played DeS, but it is still a really easy boss as long as you understand his moveset, which most people didn't before Dark Souls because the only time you had the chance to fail and come back was in a later area and none of the items after the first boss are obtainable if you die to him.
So confused by these comments, I really enjoyed spy being in these streams. He’s awkward and fun and knows a lot about these games, not to mention he was probs nervous the entire time, leave him alone ;(
