Machining Brass Feet *Furniture Restoration*

  • I made these stools a year ago before I filmed anything, but was torn between Walnut or Brass feet. Finally machined brass feet on my metal lathe to get them finished up and sold.
    BACKSTORY:
    These stools were used in a factory for 46 years before I bought them at auction. I customized them in satin black with book-matched walnut seats, copper riveted brass foot rail and machined brass feet.
    I love giving new life to old utilitarian items!

      Thank you! I'm new to machining metal. I find it's very much like wood though, and far more approachable than you may expect.

      Hey Dell, your work is really inspiring and beautiful! And thank you for your microphone video. I do not know how to do voice over work yet, but I will learn.
