In the book the Titan took the berg straight on, like a ramp, rising on the starboard side. Capsizing, toppling over onto the berg, and receding back into the water on its side. The engines, being not made to hold up at a right angle, fell a distance to the ships side, and pierced holes in it. This made the sinking rapid and the rescue of her passengers impossible, being “unable to climb vertical floors” or, not able to escape.
The actual sinking showed the ship capsizing onto her starboard side and sinking within 10 - 20 minutes, killing a majority of the 2,500 people on board. Only 13 people survived.
Yeah this was still an awesome video, it is kinda accurate to the book, however in this the ship didn't capsize 90° to starboard almost immediately unlike the book
Can't say I was expecting a remake. This is even better than the first one. Also love your model of the Titan. I don't agree that that's what she looked like, but it's certainly a breath of fresh air compared to what we usually see.
In the book Titan ran ON the iceberg and fallen on his starboard side returns to tye sea.The ice breaks his side like 13 watertight compartments and sunks in minutes
They really should. Get Leonardo and Kate back to play John and Myra. Tom Lynskey actually said that the book seemed to predict most of the films Leo would star in, like Titanic, The Wolf of Wall Street, and some others. He's spot on lol
Poseidon is just telling us he is still around. The fact that every boat/submersible named even similar to Titan, both in fiction and real life, has sunk, is an incredible coincidence that just keeps getting more coincidental. Poseidon and the other Greek/Roman Gods fought the Titans (their mortal enemies). Not to mention that they often punished mankind for being overconfident or boastful. So it is odd that The Book about the Titan, the Titanic, the German boat named the Titan, and the Submersible named the Titan were all swallowed up by the sea. I do not actually believe Poseidon is real and sinking boats because of human pride. However, it is a fun coincidence to add to the seemingly growing pile of coincidences surrounding all seafaring vessels that dare take the name of The God's arch enemies and have the audacity to boast about their dominance over Poseidon's domain.
Hello, I was wondering if I could use this animation for a school project that will be published on TH-cam in the near future. You will get credit for making it of course. Please let me know.
PS in the original novel if i remember correctly, the ship hit the iceberg without any warning (idk but technically she hit the Berg head on then?) in broad Daylight, but at the moment there was a thick fog then all of a sudden the lookout shouted iceberg dead ahead but secconds later the bow had already been crushed. The Titan sinks in just a few minutes, taking down most of the passenger except for the main characters ig? And maybe some sailors. The survivors climbed the Berg and somehow stayed alive. Plot armor?
Asi fue cuando el falso Titanic se hubdio vi en un video de aqui de TH-cam donde dicen que se ollo un gran madrazo en el casco y con eso tuvo para hundirse alas 2:20 am

Is that how it is in the book…? I’ve never read it.
@@HikerChroniclespretty much, yeah
Even though the sinking wasn't completely accurate to the book, this was still an awesome video.

Finally an actual animation of this depiction of the ship (with the yacht-style bow)
