Thank you Heather for being so patient with us and showing us that this is not daunting. A friend of mine came by just after we were put on lockdown with a diamond painting. I got a little bit done. I got myself some from The Range and they were quite expensive. Now all the family madness is over I’m going to get another start on these.
My favourite dog that I ever had was my little black n white shih-tzu and I saw a small D/P picture and I had to buy it, that’s probably going to be my 1st one to start on. Have a Blessed week 🙏

I love diamond painting..I have the small round cylinder type containers..in that butterfly case on Temu, has about 30 containers, so I have the round white stickers..every time I open a bag of drills, I pour it in and immediately write..the color number at the top, the number on the chart it is, the letter or symbol that drill is (and I circle it)...and I go 1-how many there is with that kit..right in a row. I got to where I don't use the boat, I use the top lid of that canister color...lol (I drop them alot..cats...lol so I don't use major quantities at a time anymore) all unused drills go in those tiny little baggies, I get more at Walmart, I pull the stickers off tops of the containers, and reuse them on those little baggies...then they all go in a labeled ziploc and put in a certain drawer.

Heather, what patience! You did a fantastic job of explaining everything that goes into diamond painting! I have been doing diamond painting for several years now. It is so relaxing. I even did plant picks while I was flying to visit my daughters in New Hampshire. The time flew by and my legs didn’t bother me. I noticed that I do a little different when setting up. I open each packet and I put each one in a small separate bottle. My container holds 24 bottles. I number each bottle 1-24. You notice that each drill packet is numbered or has an alphabet letter. I have another container that I put the alphabet letters on. I cut each drill packet and put the drills in the number or alphabet letter in each separate bottle. Now, I don’t have to go looking thru a bunch of containers to find the drill I need. Once I complete a project, I do the same thing that you do; I put each color in a small bag and I put the number or letter on the outside of the bag. I use minwax polycrylic clear gloss to protect the project. I think it goes further and is not as expensive and it does the job. I actually don’t use the wax that comes with rack kit. Another utuber lady suggested putting glue dots on the end of the tool. It’s a little tricky at first but once you get use to using them, you can complete a whole project without having to constantly rewax your tool. I hope this is helpful. It’s always nice to know what suggestions other people have that can help to complete something easier.

Awesome so glad you found diamond painting. I just love it. I just did a short on a wall hanging I did which says God all things are possible. Hi there, I didn’t know there were paintings with Bible verses, I will have to take another look at Temu. A friend bought me one just after the lockdowns started, then I bought some but my son got ill around the same time with leukaemia, and I had to have cataracts removed so I did get a little bit done on my 1st one but I’ve had a lot of pain with my long term spinal problem, life just gets in the way doesn’t it but I’m hoping to get down to starting them soon. I hope you enjoy your painting, Heather is so lovely and explained everything very clearly. I just wanted to share with you xx
@@marianjohnston617 hi Marian I have many of Jesus and have a few with Bible verses. I did a short on TH-cam of the beautiful one I completed for Easter. I am sorry to hear of your tribulations, life can throw rocks, but our God is so much bigger than that. I will keep you in my prayers, I do love heather very much and have watched her for months, I’m one of the silent ones as I usually watch on my tv and I can put a like just not comment. I keep telling my husband to see if he can find a keyboard that will work on the tv for me lol. Temu does have a huge selection of just beautiful diamond paintings, and I would need to go back to my videos to see what other company I ordered from for my faith based diamond paintings. @@marianjohnston617 Just have to make sure it’s not too small. I bought one about 8x12 that had a nice poem for my Son and you can’t even read the words when you add gems, so disappointing and trying to figure out if there is anything else I can do with it.
Diamond painting tools are very cheap on Temu and what works for some, may not for others. Ruler grids can be helpful on bigger paintings especially and even though you think you have the drills perfect, using the flat angled spatula straighter between all the rows in both directions will show you they are not. I always run it through when finished and make sure it’s clean of any fuzz, fur or hair before I seal it.
DP has helped my severe anxiety immensely, is addictive and I have bought dozens from Temu because they are so cheap. I have folders like yours to keep mine in (finished and unfinished) and I don’t have the wall space for many. I have a frame that I change out now and then with a new one like I had when my Son was young for his artwork 😂
