The problem with your crew is that you got her at a higher rank than harmless. ALWAYS go for harmless. They scale up to 10% max once they hit elite

Appreciate the feedback. But we could never ditch Samira. We’ve been together for years. She is family. 😂

4:17 Your NPC is taking 13% of anything you make at Master? You want to hire a harmless NPC. They only take 10% when they hit Elite. 2 pips in weapons, un-engineered with beams isn't a good choice. You did kill your target which is good. After that, you don't need to shoot the wing mates.

Appreciate the thoughtful recommendations. Although I could never give up my npc partner. She’s been with me since the beginning 😀

That went well . I was surprised that a 6 A scb recharges a 8A shield fully . But this is the current PC version . I am on the old console version so that seemed odd to me.
My T10 is fully engineered . Here are some options you can try to make it stronger.
Go for a 7A shield with a 8 A SCB . It fully recharges shield . The ship launch fighter can be a 6 as you should still have 2 types . I also have reinforced and shielded modules so they cant get taken out if your shields go down . 0 7

Thank you for the recommendations 😀
It’s a shame the console version is no longer receiving updates. Playing on the couch sounds like a nice time.

My Type 10 “Ben A.F.K.” As the name implies only has one purpose to AFK farm bounties. 400-600 mil per session.

That’s an interesting approach. Care to share more details and the specifications of your build?

@@abelireviewsi believe the build uses point defenses and beam laser turrets. You put valuables in your cargo hold, go to a hazardous resource site, and let the pirates come to you. You can find multiple videos about it on this site.

@@abelireviews long range pulse laser turrets, high shield strength, gold in the hold, turrets set to fire at will, park in a low Res with crimes set to off.
Pirates scan you, see the gold, give you 15 seconds, then start shooting, turrets return fire, pirates sit kinda behind and above you not moving because you're not moving. turrets do their job. Pips set to 3-0-3. Watch the bounties come in with no interaction.

We are using the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. What is your preferred controller?

@@abelireviews I usually play with a keyboard, since I don't own a controller, but for elite dangerous I use my old Phantom Hawk joystick (it has a power throttle and works generally pretty good). I got it years ago for a simulator or smth. that I never really played but it's pretty good for this.
I have noticed that you can look around the cockpit with your controller, which is why I asked for it, since can't do that that easily.
But I have a few more questions: A XBox controller has two joysticks, the four buttons, the shoulder buttons and the cross (in german: Steuerkreuz) wich adds foour more buttons. But I need all my twelve buttons on the controller in addition to using my keyboard with more button binds. How do you have your controls set? It just seems to me that 10 buttons is a bit too few... At least for my playstyle.

It's always interesting to see how different setups can enhance the gameplay experience in Elite Dangerous. We've always wanted to try a flight stick!
Regarding your question about the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, you're right about the number of buttons. The controller has limited buttons compared to a full keyboard or specialized joysticks with many programmable options. We've customized our controller setups to optimize the most used controls. Here's a brief breakdown of the configuration:
--Left and Right Joysticks: We use these primarily for ship navigation and fine-tuning my flight path. Clicking on the left joystick changes my flight verticles. Clicking the right joystick changes the headlock so we can look around.
--D-Pad: We mapped these for quick access to essential ship systems, such as shields, weapons, and power distribution.
--Shoulder Buttons: These are perfect for throttle adjustments.
--ABXY Buttons: These handle boost, targeting, select, and other frequently used functions.
We use the keyboard for additional commands that don't fit on the controller. This hybrid setup lets us keep our hands on the controller for critical maneuvers while still having access to a broader range of commands on the keyboard. Perhaps a dive-deep video into our setup would be worth making.
Thanks for sharing, and let us know if you have additional questions. Take care :)
