  • How to get rid of burn marks and hash marks from the piece of aluminum you are polishing using Zephyr Polishes.
This a tutorial video for the advanced polisher!
Today on Salinas I have another Zephyr polishes tutorial to add to the series! This tutorial video shows Kevin Clapp from Texas Premier Polishing explaining the appropriate steps on how to remove those annoying burn marks ghost marks or pattern trails whatever you want to call it!
All the products used in this video including the rouges polishes and cremes can be found on zephyrpro40.com

Pro TECHNIQUE is the key here. He didn't learn how to do this on his first trailer and he is GOOD!!!!

Very helpful! I keep running into the same dilemma after every polish, especially on larger flat surfaces, when I’m completely done and the sun hits it at the right angle and depending where I’m standing I can see a zig zagging line that moves horizontally and when I bend down it’ll look like it shifts all down the side. Are these hash marks? And will the pro 40 on a da with a pad make them disappear? I tried every finishing wheel zephyr offers besides the muslin flannel and still can’t get them to completely go away. The finished product always looks great until the sun shifts in the sky and then then I can see all the zig zag lines. Please any advice would be helpful. Thanks, love the channel, keep grinding! 👍🏼

I'm doing a horse trailer, and I'm curious how you prepped before you cut with the pad. I'm having a hard time with water spots not coming out, just cutting or polishing. Did you use acid first and then polish after? I'm pretty new

Do you have a link for those micro fiber pads? I can’t find them on their site nor Zephyr. Thank you.

thanks for the vid. Please wear gloves and long pants to avoid absorbing those chemicals through your skin.
Once or twice isn't a big deal. You just want to reduce your exposure over the Long term so you can still be around to correct us noobs 20 years from now.
