Haven't even gotten to play a single one of these games yet but much of the music from the first six games or so is touching in a deep reflective way (minus the battle themes). Great work as always!
I agree! The games are really good but for some reason I still prefer Dragon Quest!
It's tragic really how Dragon Quest doesn't get the attention it deserves outside of Japan. That's why it's up to us to convince and enlighten others to its greatness!
Majora T I completely agree. I'm glad someone understands this! With Dragon Quest Heroes being localized, I don't see why Dragon Quest VII shouldn't be. People are really missing out a lot by now playing Dragon Quest.
The series was beginning to get more popular in North America with IX and then with the 3DS, Square ditched all hopes and won't localize a single one of the Nintendo games; not even the Monsters remakes! I've always found something charming in the Dragon Quests not inherent in Final Fantasy games. Their eagerness not to try and neglect of a fanbase worldwide is disappointing; I guess we'll have to just keep fighting for those games over here!
Majora T I will continue to fight and I am sure I will never give up until I see these games in English! Dragon Quest VIII is one of the best RPGs ever made! I don't understand why Square Enix gave up on localizing these games even after the unexpected success Bravely Default got in the west! Sorry for the late reply!
