I have all my lyrics and chords on hand typed sheets...very old school. Can these be put on the app some how? I don't fancy having to type in 150 songs manually. Thank you

I am looking for an app that not just has the lyrics but also shows all the chords to follow all parts and lyrics on one page.. without breaks where you have to scroll or mess with it..?
This app will also show the chords but you have to enter them yourself. If you need an app that has the lyrics and chords entered for you then try the ‘Tabs’ app.
Hi Aaron! If the lyrics has 2 pages, is there anything that changes the page automatically? I mean a play button or similar (I am not talking about pedals).

About 3 years ago, I switched to the iPad but using photos is annoying and using pages is totally unreliable for some reason, not to mention, the text not enlarging at the click of a button and the SCREEN GOING DARK as you said is a musicians NIGHtMARE! YES IT has happened to me. Will be getting this app and so look forward to it. CURIOUS as to what you do as a back up.... paper lyrics in the trunk of your car???? another iPad???
Hi Michelle that’s great news and thanks. I don’t take a backup as I would be able to get by without one but taking a second device would be a smart move. It’s quite easy to back up your library to Dropbox and sync them up again.

Did you update your iPhone to iOS 13? OnSong sent an email out saying to wait as there were some bugs (when a major OS update comes it’s best to wait a while and check that all of your important apps have been made compatible). Mine is working fine on iOS 13.1.1 and the latest OnSong update from the App Store. Check that everything is up to date and if there’s is still an issue contact OnSong and ask them to look at your files. Hope you resolve it!
Hey, I've been using this app for a couple of years now. I have 400 songs, I'm into the idea of sharing libraries for covers, so if your game I am game. As you know, it takes time to add songs.
That’s a great idea but I like to input the songs myself to keep the formatting the same. I’m sure there are places online where you can share and download OnSong libraries though...
@@aaronshortmusic Reformatting is quicker than inputting an entire song. ;) Besides, I doubt the formats are worlds apart, how do you know they aren't the same? :D
Del Wright That is a good point but all I do is copy the lyrics in from Google and then check them. If I used chords as well I would definitely use other peoples to save time. Having said that you are welcome to my library if you would find it useful. Just email me.

Hey Shelly. I have not experienced that but I do know that OnSong have a very good support team and I would suggest that you reach out to them. If you find a solution please share it here with me!
No you create them yourself but you could always import other peoples files into it. Check out the ‘Tabs’ app for a searchable database of songs. I use that one too.
Correct me if I am wrong, but, you are still using a binder or notebook for lyrics, except it's in a digital format, rather, than learning the song lyrics by heart.
It’s important to learn songs from memory for performance but this app is a good way to keep track of your repertoire and allows you to share them with other musicians. It’s also great for new or last minute song requests for Weddings etc. and looks much better than having a binder onstage.

When I consider that I use the app at paid shows at least 4 times per week it’s paid for itself MANY times over :-)

Just downloaded it. I can’t figure out how to get a song in there.
Look for the + icon. I like to run the ‘console’ in my Mac and do it that way.

I don’t know if any official ones. You would have to find someone that has inputted some songs or do it yourself.
is the iPhone too small to use on stage ?
Not for me but I have the 13 Pro Max. An iPad would be easier for sure.
How do I make a certain part of the song larger on this?
All international artiste had there on lyrics screen flat on the system fixed up apart of sounds systems! I knew it and I saw it.
Yes they do but I think it’s important not to rely on the screen and only have it as a backup. It’s always best to memorize the lyrics.

Onsong is the best, not even close. Paired w bluetooth pedal, it is great. Only reason I own an iPad! Wish they had an android or windows version...
I forgot to mention the Bluetooth pedal support. Another excellent feature!

Does it work with guitar tabs.
You have to enter the chords and lyrics in. I don’t think it’s works with tabs yet. You should check out the ‘Tab’ app for that.
