Adventures in LEGOLAND NY Holiday Brictacular!

Join us on an adventure to LEGOLAND NY for their annual Holiday Bricktacular event!
Since we weren't able to make it down to Walt Disney World this Holiday Season, we decided to scratch our theme park itch by visiting one in our home state of NY. This was also our first time to ANY of the LEGOLANDs throughout the world and we had a blast!
While much of the park was closed for the season, we were still able to have a great time riding rides, seeing stage shows and participating in activities like the Reindeer Games and Reindeer Training Academy. We even got to meet Lego Santa!
Our time probably would have better spent at the event if it wasn't our first time to LEGOLAND. We spent a good hour or two at the beginning of the 12-6PM event time exploring the lego city on the hillside (which honestly was so cool and we could have spent the entire afternoon exploring all of the amazing details!). So by the time we ate and got into the activities we kind of felt like we were rushing to get everything in.
If you are going our advice would be to skip the standard LEGOLAND activities and just focus on the party. We missed the s'mores pit, the writing letters to santa and i'm sure a ton of other stuff, but what we did see what great. And the best part was definitley the character interactions and entertainment. Sprinkles and Kevin were amazing during Reindeer Training Academy and the roving elves were everything. Also, I'm pretty sure we're gonna be singing the songs from the stage show until next Christmas! :)
