Dude, you need to be on radio. You have a unique voice. If you were announcing the traffic conditions in my town I wouldn't be so pissed about being stuck in it. Nice vid, BTW.
Kind of funny, I bought the XL 50 before stumbling across your video. Now, I have 2 identical flashlights sitting on my desk to the ones in this video, both black, both same versions. Great review, made me want the Mini Mag for the Candle setup. Between them, I would still choose the XL 50 over the 77 lumen Mini Mag LED. Though not having a battery carrier is nice with the Mini. The pro and pro + would be a great review against the new XL 200, hint hint. Subscribed.
Sweet lights and nice review. Good to see the LED Mini still has the same form and all the functions of the original Mini. I always liked taking off the lens to make a table light, and I was sure that function would have been lost.
i gotta give you mad props on the very detaild review. i just saw this light at wal-mart and love it.. l.e.d and strobe function for 30 bucks gotta get me 1
Hi man. Another great review. I commented in your other video of the XL 50. Good review and there is a way to secure a makeshift lanyard. Thick elastic bands will do the trick as they have friction as well as tightness. Apply to 2 spots and they are not likely to slip. Anyway, just to check, I am thinking of getting 1 over ebay for US$28 from Altatac. Is it a good idea? This is my first time buying something online.
great review, was wondering wich one to get and seeing all specs and preformance next to eatchother I decided to go with the classic 2xAA mag due to the 18 hour batterylife on high power mode, as seeing the beams next to eatchother I really couldent tell it was that huge of a difference and well sufficient beam for my needs, but 18 against 8,5 hour batterylife in high power mode decided it for me, along with the fact that 2xAA had a slightly adjustable wide to spot beam (more noticable on range)
Does this light reset after having it on one mode for a while and then turning it off or does it start in the next mode every time? Let's say I have it on high for 20 minutes and turn it off, will it turn on in the high mode or the low mode?
I have looked on the internet on Ebay, amazon, etc.....I can't find the replacement LED bulb for the Maglite LED XL50.......Can anyone tell me what bulb to buy and where? Thanks
If the 50 has the new chip led you can't replace it like the older simple incandescent bulbs. I never owned the 50 or saw it but if it looks like the same as the mini mag pro you can't replace it. If it has the new chip its either return it or replace it by buying new.
Found the flashlight in a cupboard. Batteries were dead. Never could get the batteries out. Watched the video hoping to see how to get at the batteries. Failed and threw the thing out.
i have three maglites. AA led and 2nd generation AA led multimode and the 4D led. great flashlights but compared to my fenix PD30 r4 and Olight M20 r5 they are in another level. spend abit more and get the olight m20s s2 or the fenix pd31 r5
NEW Mini Maglite LED AA is better for the money & run in 2 AA b. tailcap button can be bought for 8 box. Look out for thid video on Ybute 4 Mode Mag-light LED review
I love the simplicity of your review. Your emty emotion (voice) make it more reliable. Keep working and thanks

Really good review, but i cant decide between the mini, the xl50 or the xl100..kinda seems like for the money the mini is fine ?
Thx for the review. Really good. Keep thr reviews coming.
The new 2xAA Mini Maglite Pro+ just came out and it has 245 lumens compared to the old Mag LED at 69 lumens. That's a huge step up for Maglite!
