you can probably program in most of those software features in infotainment using some kind of $99 obd2 scan tool. you can even make your bmw 318d have rolls-royce phantom infotainment screen and sounds. it's cheaper for car makers to make one software for all cars under their corporation and then lock features on some cars and hope owners dont ffind them

S680 is longer than Ghost also has longer wheelbase. Phantom is longer than S680. There is also S-Class Pullman which is significantly longer than Phantom

That garish chrome is primarily for the Chinese market (which traditionally are attracted to "precious metal" looking trim), and ironically Chinese auto makers try subdue their designs to attract more European and American markets (which have trended toward blacked-out or body colour trim). Crazy world.

Maybach changed it's name to MTU and remained in Freiderichshafen building motors for tanks and commercial applications. Thanks for your video, its a beautiful car.

I would replace the exterior Mercedes logos with aftermarket Maybach logos and tint the front windows. Then it’s ready to go

In South Africa the bottom radiator vents for the Obsidian Black version is black instead of Chrome for the S680

For me the W222 S650 was more beautiful. At some point the chrome gets too much like here and spoils everything. BUT i will still take a 57S any day!
