You guys actually put a lot of work into this video, kudos lol There are a lot of factors that go into winter driving, not only the tires: temperature, the type of snow, even your vehicle's height sometimes contributes to snow accumulation underneath and hence you can't move. Even with studded Pirelli tires, and enough snow underneath your vehicle, you will get stuck. I drive a jeep, and I always have a shovel in the back... best manual overdrive you can get lol
Hi.. I just bought a 2019 GLA I see you already have an experience in snow .. I know that here in video it is very icy and slippery but can you please tell me is it good car for winter ? For snow ? Does 4Matic works really good ?
I am not offended, but I don't see how anything could do any better. On the ice all four wheels were spinning, and in the snowbank none of the wheels were actually touching the ground.
@@mbrenengen I live in Iceland, where snowy condition are at least 6 month on year and I'm 60 year old.. this "drive" technic is not how you can advanced in snow.

Very nice small crossover, it's only weakness is how low it sits, it is just a bit higher than a regular hatch.

It is excellent in normal snow. We have never gotten stuck in normal driving.

It would on the ice, but they are not legal in Minnesota.

No offense but that's typical 4matic system problem on small cars. Quattro's systems are better even xdrive from bmw.

No vehicle that is balanced on top a pile of snow is going to unstick itself. But that is a very BMW way of thinking.
