You should just add some ribbon to the collars and wear them with your dresses, sweaters, and blouses. Perhaps you can hold the center X's with the matching trim flowers.
Oh my goodness, that first flowered dress you wore in this video is absolutely perfect on you! So pretty and wonderful with your hair and skin! And the dress is coming together beautifully! I’m always so impressed that you travel to rehearsals with 10 yards of silk for your hand sewing! I bet your cast mates are stunned to see your work.👏
I worked the Titanic exhibit when it came to Seattle in 2001 for 9 months so I walked talked and breathed everything Titanic. I was blessed with being able to see things up close touch things that people don't normally get to touch and everything about this is both romantic wonderful and heartbreaking. My favorite little bit of trivia for Titanic though is that if they would have just hit the iceberg. Didn't try to turn away from it but just hit it head on they probably would have been okay. It was the fact that they turned and punched so many holes in the side of the boat. Have too many things coming up to make it down to Tacoma well the show is on. Break a leg and I hope to see in the next one.
The trim is so perfect and I think the flowers would be better if you want whimsical. Just my opinion. I applied to the local university to start my bachelor's degree.
Wow, wow, wow! That wool is such a lovely color. That book looks amazing, and those collars are so pretty and delicate. Happy Birthday. Now that you’re 21, all the fun will go out of drinking 🙃
I am loving this project. I'm happy with you taking your time with it because that means we get to enjoy looking forward to updates for longer!! That trim is just so perfectly gorgeous! and the green fabric!! ❤❤❤ I love all the embellishments options for the stomacher, you can't go wrong! I wonder if maybe one of the larger rhinestones or the filigree would look best with a small ribbon bow or rosette behind it??
A belated Happy Birthday to you. It sounds like you did your celebration up right! 😁😍🥳 I'm not surprised that you ran out of energy this week. I'm exhausted just keeping track of everything you're having to construct with this dress. 😵💫🥱 No apology is necessary, imho. I am terrifically impressed with your artistry and skills in recreating these dresses. In fact they are so fabulous that they really qualify more as gowns rather than dresses. I'm looking forward to the completion and final reveal - whenever that happens. Rome wasn't built in a day, and you're only one person doing all that you do. Eventually something has to give. 😉😘🤗 See you next week. 😊🥰❤👍
Darn that’s so much work! It looks wonderful. I really love the trim. Also your making me feel tired! Don’t forget to take some time for yourself in that crazy busy schedule!
Love the stomacher. Add Pink, Rian is all in! I have a HUGE (talking 1,000s) of brand new but antique glass buttons. If you ever want any, let me know & I will gift you some. I have tiny to large. Also some wood & character ones. They make great embellishments. I do love that color green for the gown. It's always fun to see what you're making & hearing you talk is calming.
My 2 cents is that the flowers are really pretty, but that using them on the stomacher is too much white. I'd go with the filigree ones or the ones with the silver backing and then use the flowers elsewhere - maybe along the neckline somewhere or on the edges of the sleeves
I'm glad the package arrived safely and that you liked it. Another great video, as always and appreciated as you're super busy! Would love to see the musical as I once worked on a titanic exhibition when it was in Bradford, England, but too far away. Hope to see a video of your upcoming trip to Engand. Break a leg! 😊
Not sure what's with my patreon connection but I can never participate in your requests but love what you're doing so far, but puffy sleeves would look beautiful and I like the antique stone buttons they go with the whole look. Those choices may already be decided but do love this.❤😊
I see them they just dont let me get to reply or comment. Boohoo on me. Keep up the good work. Now you are so busy, job, theater, TH-cam. Wow. Never rains but it pours. Best wishes and break a leg. Would love to see a performance.
hi Rebecca, I'm so impressed with your sewing skills. The costume is looking lovely! Just wondering, do you make your plaited hairbands? I'd love to know how you do it :)
While I was taking a drawing class a few years ago, the instructor said, "If Michelangelo had owned a digital camera, he would have used the crap out of it." Of course, we would then not have the collection of cartoons and sketches from the Sistine, but we might have digital files.... So, thinking of this I ask, have you ever considered gluing trim on with the high-tech, stable adhesives now available? Is it anametha to ask such a question?

I vote for the white flowers on the stomacher. Happy Birthday🎂
Thanks!

Thanks! Luckily, most of this hand sewing has been very small and portable. 😉

Petticoat: You did it right according to Burnley & Trowbridge's video on making a 18th century petticoat.
Good to know!
It's coming along well!
The outfit is looking lovely.
I love that embroidered trim! I wish I lived near Seattle so I could see your play. And, Rebecca? Happy Birthday!!!
Thanks!
I love it the colors that you chose it give whimsical vibe
I've been watching and enjoying your videos for some time and just realized I wasn't subscribed. I fixed that.

Happy late birthday
My brain upon seeing the flower trim: "Headband. Headband. Headbandheadbandheadbandheadband"
I was actually thinking about making a headband out of it earlier today!
Happy late birthday! For what it's worth I like the small rhinestones set in silver for the stomacher.
Thanks!

@@lindagoesel3815 oh, that's so weird! I wonder why they're not letting you. Like there's not even an option? And thank you!
Tha's sooooo cool!!!!
Wouldn't it be better to open on the day the Titanic set sail?
Except that would be midweek, and this theatre performs on weekends.
hi Rebecca, I'm so impressed with your sewing skills. The costume is looking lovely! Just wondering, do you make your plaited hairbands? I'd love to know how you do it :)
Thanks! They're these ones from Amazon! amzn.to/3KiJrvn
@@LadyRebeccaFashions ah ok, thanks :) I might have a go at making my own
I think it's coming along nicely.. Break a leg.

Honestly, I wouldn't ever put glue/adhesives on a dress. I'm totally up for glue on hats, but it just seems sacrilegious to do that on a dress.
