Everytime I've rolled Necro I've always gone blood nova or Rathma AoTD, and never gave any thought to the Pestilence set. When S30 started, I really wanted to try something different. Then I stumbled on this video. I was able to put it together fairly easily and it's been a blast! Thanks man, I appreciate all your work on this.
I played Necro for the first time in D3 season 30. Didn't buy the DLC before. Once I got the hang of the auto lancer mechanics with the Pestilence season set, it's been a ton of fun racing through greater rifts. I also hadn't played D3 after they upgraded the followers to be able to equip gear in all slots like your main character, so that's been fun to play around with items on followers that "emanate". I am finding this build is squishier in GRs over 70 though. Fortunately, by this time, I've been able to collect all parts of the other 4 Necro sets and now I'm trying out the Inarius Death Nova build.
Cool! I will give it a try! ..I run my Necro Pestilence set with corpse explosion I find it pretty solid for TIV Rift, But I did some "bad" build changes recently then I had to go back to TXIII... I also have all the Necro set and try to make something out of it... Till now, I'm pretty happy, but I'm starting to optimize my builds, will see where that will get me! :)

It's a fun one
I use Devouring Aura to soak up the corpses to make lances
For more CDR and movement speed you can use In-Geom & Lost Time. It's less damage potential but really good for T16 Rifts.

You use voracious not because of command skeletons essence spams but because the 3p Captain set give you DR for RCR btw
