@emilia muñoz the thing is idols have fans everywhere. If an idol only understood Korean you wouldn't have a problem watching a live if you really liked them. But Chan is in Korea. Most of their fans are Korean. So he speaks Korean. It's a gift he chooses to translate to English sometimes, idols don't owe us anything. But at the same time there's a difference between politely asking him to translate or doing what the person did in that live and tell him to stop speaking Korean or to demand he speak English. Chan has read "please speak English" comments and politely replied, but when fans demand he does it is another story. I also only understand English but I love Chan to pieces and constantly have his lives on while I'm just doing anything and hearing his voice in the background, even if I have no clue what he's saying.
The point is people need to get it out of their heads that Chan or any idol HAVE to do something. it's their choice and you don't own them.❤️
