Letters have been sent out stating that they have consulted with the “faith communities” and “skirts have become problematic”!!! I have never been on a protest before but i did go to the farmers protest as i do not agree with what this dreadful government are doing to the Farmers in this country. The atmosphere at the protest was one of unity and it really showed to me that these farmers are the backbone of britain these are the people that keep food on our table and countrysides looking as nice as they do, who in some cases families have been farming these lands for 100s of years. I have never been on a protest before but i did go to the farmers protest as i do not agree with what this dreadful government are doing to the Farmers in this country. It is disguating and i feel outrged about it. The atmosphere at the protest was one of unity and it really showed to me that these farmers are the backbone of britain these are the people that keep food on our table and countrysides looking as nice as they do, who in some cases families have been farming these lands for 100s of years. This government needs to go, if the farmers go on strike or protest more i will back them. Farmers need to be left alone and left to get on with the job they were born to do, not many people could do the backbreaking work for little to no profit! Reeves and Starmer should be made to work as farmers for a month lets see how they fair then!

Without the buildings the machinery and all the rest. 33 acres approx and about 16 football pitches is a tiny small farm. Every farmer is affected. It would be possible and simpler to just bring in laws that state, that if a wealthy person with another business or businesses, buys farmland that person or corporation forgoes the tax relief afforded to farmers who have built farms over decades often from wasteland.

To fill a financial `black hole` the Treasury needs extra money quickly - but just about the slowest way to acquire extra cash is having to wait until someone dies. For the tenure of this government the number of farmers dying, and therefore activating inheritance tax, will probably prove negligible to the Treasury. There must be quicker ways of raising extra finance in the country than waiting for the demise of the `hardy` farmers.
Cease all illegal immigration for a start.. that is costing hundreds of millions. That's before you even get to the incredible institutional waste and huge state bureaucracy.
