I am a 48 year old male going through depression and anxiety. Charlotte's video is and has helped me TREMENDOUSLY! ...... I feel like I knew her and I can sense her here speaking to me! I want to say thank you Charlotte! Love and peace from California!
Thanks for the update Miles. I have a rather unfortunate update of my own to inform you that sadly, my best friend passed away in February because of glioblastoma, in addition to other cancers that she had. She didn't watch the channel, but her partner did. He noticed a lot of similarities in personality that she and Charlotte had. I'm sorry to hear about the cat, but glad you have a rescue one to succeed them. My best friend also had a love of cats! Good news about the charity too. I've been busy with my awareness/ advocacy work for various charities, especially those that are brain related. Nice to see another video of Charlotte. It keeps her memory alive. Take care 😊
Your family raised such a beautiful girl inside and out. She deserved life and my heart aches for you guys. May Charlottesville message to reach everyone that needs to hear it. She’s lives on in our hearts ♥️
Miles thank you for your update, have been thinking of you a lot recently. Relieved you are doing well. Also as a total cat lover, I have to say that your new cat is absolutely stunning, she reminds me of Nela ❤ And to see Charlotte at the end is always such an honour, although it always makes me remember her final days and how incredibly cruel that was for everyone to see her change so much...❤
First this disease took my father at age 76 - he only lasted 4 months even with surgery. 15 years later my baby sister passed from the same horrible disease after a 13 month fight. She was the youngest of the six of us and My Mom was devastated. I have been following some of the work they are doing with injecting polio into the tumor and PRAY this treatment will be the beginning of the cure. I am still heartsick from Jill's passing but have finally had glimpses of happiness when I think of her. Keep going and give your Mom a hug from me.
I haven't even fully watched the video yet, but I quite literally hooted out loud out of joy to see an update. I'm off to watch the rest of the video and hope that I'll also see your beautiful mom! Sending love from the southeastern US.
Thanks for the update! So glad that you are doing well. Hope your second round of placements goes well. Tiger Lily is adoarable. I was thinking about your family lately. My mum was recently diagnosed with liver cancer and has just begun her Chemotherapy treatments. She is so worried about losing her hair and she keeps hoping that she doesn't. It reminded me a lot of Charlotte's story. ❤
I ran across Charlotte's videos last night, I spent hours upon hours getting to know her. Thank you for spreading her story and keeping her videos available. I too have been diagnosed with grade 4 GB, it is a scary turn of events. Her story is absolutely heartbreaking, but an inspiration for those of us on this journey. I am glad to have had had the opportunity to know her. 🐱
TH-cam has just randomly shown this channel to me last night while I was working through the algorithm and I just wanted to thank you for sticking with it and keeping it up even 7 years later. Charlotte is about the age of my own sister, and I’ve been viewing her journey from start to finish and it has absolutely broken my heart. Thank you all for taking care of the legacy she left in the form of this page, because even almost a decade later this is still touching people and opening their eyes to people and how they feel.
can't put into words how painful it was to watch her videos. I'm so sorry that she had to endure that. can't imagine how it felt, and i had a brain tumor myself. rest in peace :(
