As someone who loves Gideon the Ninth and also loved the sequel, it is up to you to read it. I personally prefer how the sequel was written. The writing style in Harrow's voice, and making the choice to write it in second person, all combined in such a nice way. I will also say the space setting is actually more there in comparison to the first. That being said, I have a rule with series. If I am not interested in the ongoing storyline, I don't continue it. If you enjoyed the first but don't really care where it is going, then don't feel a need to continue the series.

I love your library and have been watching for some time now. If you're looking for a wonderful (contemporary) fantasy book, check out The Harrow Saga. It's published by a small publisher and is a coming of age fantasy with some powerful female characters. The author is Philip Mazza. I found the language to be wonderful. I do have a warning: there's a lot going on, and the pace picks up as you read through the series. Some great plot twists, of course, and it's interesting how the author's writing style changes to reflect the maturity of the female protagonist. If you're tired of Gaiman, Martin, and Sanderson, you should check it out. Highly underrated!
I was actually fixing my glass snowman that I made (the permanent glue I used originally turned out not to be so permanent 😒) while I listened and looked up occasionally 😂 I even do my dishes (no dishwasher 😭) while watching TH-cam 😀 I live alone so I always have TH-cam on😀

I really don't think I'd be the best person to give advice on such a thing since I'm truly terrible with my time and tend to be more of an impulsive person when it comes to taking on my day smh but I wish you the best of luck in finding a balance I most definitely still haven't found!

From my understanding, I am not actually subscribed or anything, Fairyloot has an option to receive a box with only the book or a box with a book and a bunch of items, whereas Owlcrate only has the option to receive a book and other items. I'm assuming that you can buy from the site directly in case you saw an item you didn't get or if you don't want the subscription service.

All the items look amazing but since they are often a hit or miss I subscribed to the book only options of fairyloot for both the ya and adult boxes
