Hey Dylan, you've been getting a lot of cool stuff. I loved everything you showed today. That jacket, though, looked warm. I want a few of those. Thanks for sharing your awesome adventures and for all the hard work and time you put into your awesome videos. Great TH-cam channel. GOD BLESS YOU
Hey D! I’ve been following you from the beginning and I have to say that you are doing the d*mn thing in these TH-cam streets. You keep getting better and better. I might add that I know that your intentions are not to be a representative for the people of Kentucky or the outdoor/truck camping community and you are simply inviting people on your journey, but for real - if Kentucky had a friendly face, kind demeanor and a wholesome energy, you would be the good parts of Kentucky and camp life. You have an aura that is magnetic. Truly, your videos are refreshing, educational and keeps my attention. You are appreciated and I wish you continued success and greater camping adventures. 👍
Another great video Dylan! Plus i got rid of my Jeep Patriot and got a 2018 Chevy Silverado. Just purchased a Flated topper to put on it when i go exploring. Plus i have that same string lights you put on the awning. I love it so much so easy to put it all back together when not in use.
Hey that's awesome! I think the flated topper is so cool and being able to take it off easy is great! I hope you have some great camping trips in that setup!
I get closer to buying a tall topper every new video... I need to stop watching your videos until i can afford a topper... :P You have a great setup, my guy.
Haha, it definitely makes a difference, but it's possible to work around until the time is right! Like I did with the softopper for a while! Thank you :)
Always Great to See You Out and About Enjoying The Solitude of Camping Solo...Exciting as Always to see Your arrangements of gear and such ! Who makes that Cool Collapsible Table ? Merry Christmas Dylan ! You make Our Lives Happier w/ Your Adventures !!
Man glad to see you again. Really enjoy breakfast for dinner as well. Like the little heater being it doesn’t get too hot. Enjoy the videos you put out. Looking forward to the. Next one and as always safe travels
Hey Wendel, it's great to hear from you as well! Breakfast for dinner is always nice. I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope to hear from you again soon! Thanks so much!
Awesome to see your getting sponsors and another great video Dylan. Sorry I've missed a couple been busy but will catch up over the holiday. Hope you and your family have a great Christmas and new year
Hey John! It's great to hear from you, buddy! Life gets busy, but I hope you can get caught up when you get time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours as well!
Nice drone work, Dylan. I like the way you used the leafless trees as both foreground and background, adding depth to the video. One of these days you are going to need a bigger truck/topper, so you have room for all of the neat toys you're collecting. Enjoy the holidays with your family and friends.
Hey Bob, I'm glad you like the drone shots! Thanks so much for coming along and the kind words! Definitely might need a bigger setup one day haha. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! :)
Brrrrrr... looks cold. About the only thing these days that gets me out if its cold is either fishing or deer hunting. Not sure I'll do either this winter, probably hold tight till spring turkey season and then get out in the woods for a few days. Anyway I really like the look of these portable hot water heater/shower units. If you can haul water you could stay pretty comfortable while boondocking or dispersed camping in the sticks even with a truck cap rig. I know in mine (and Dylan's) there's room in front of the wheel bump outs for a 20 gallon water tank if you'll allow like 18" of height. Thanks for taking us along as always, Dylan. 👍
Very nice video I watch your videos when I have time and they are great Keep up the good work buddy Merry Christmas to you All the way from Chicago Cheers 👍🏻
It's so very cool to see all the different camp sites u go to. I have a couple here in iowa I love very basic perfect for truck camping. You are the very 1st person I joined on TH-cam. Frankly I feel like I'm helping ya in some small way. Those lights you had in that tiger tent what were those? I tried to find them would be nice to have for the truck
Nice video. I am intrigued by the heater. But I think you’re of course right, need a cold 0 degree bag. I bought a heated bed cover from Ignik, use it with my 30 degree bag and a wool blanket. But I haven’t camped below 38 degrees in my 4Runner.
I had a love-hate relationship with that cup. You got every time I try to take it off it, would stick it would get stuck. It just too much made me crazy. Almost spilled it trying to take it off. I loved it and I hated it. I took it back, I see they have an electric one, just like it a little bit bigger, but it looks just like it, but it's electric. I'm gonna try that.
Loving the channel, new subscriber here. I started a page of my own recently and having a blast with it. Keep up the good work, can't wait to watch more, be safe.
I'm thinking about selling my house and going on the road see the country like you I'm tired of being tied down. Do you do any job's on the side to support yourself or did you save up a bunch of money? Great video by the way
You'll get absolutely zero condensation with a diesel heater. It's dry heat. I can't believe you haven't gotten one yet. It's a must for truck camper; also have on in the travel trailer.
Hi Dylan, can you tell me the name of the green crate with the wood top that you pulled your Joulle kettle out of? I didn't see a link for that in the description. Thanks.
For the extra headroom and being able to lock it with gear inside the hard top is the way to go. But if you're on a budget, the softopper is a great option! I really like the hard top, but I also waited until I found one used for a better price.
Some notes on the heater. I had the heater and was not happy for the following points. 1. It takes up floor space. 2. The price of canisters, throw away the canister, and condensation. For a few dollars more, and many more heating scenarios, such as Truck camping tent camping, shed heater, most of all, inflatable tent. My main tool for camping is my Casita, and my Inflatable tent, when you need to get a little more room in the tent.
I have that heater does well but the canasters are pricey, I have a 15 ft travel trailer with wood stove . My favorite way to camp is a tent attached to my Jeep Wrangler . I’m looking for a teardrop camper to add to the fleet . Great video, just subbed ✌️
Btw, love the cupid heater. I guess depends on where you live, you can get butane canister less than $2 per can and sometimes around $1.50 in asian stores like H Mart or Mega Mart. As Dylan said, good sleeping bag is must. I turn off fuel heaters when I sleep.
Hello I'm new to car camping. Matter of fact I'm planning my first trip now. I reside in NYS. I'm going to start with KOA's- campgrounds of America: simple safe but expensive. What tactics are you using to plan trips? State/ national parks? Off season? etc? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hey John, that's exciting news, and I hope you have an awesome first experience! The best thing I could say is to keep it simple, create a list of all the things you need, and make sure you've got a solid sleeping bag! Find your spots you want to visit and make sure they're open this time of year as some will be closed and always have a backup place to camp just in case.
Just an overall question for you and your followers- have any of you run into any trouble with anyone while out doing your camping trips and how did you decide to handle the situation?
Hey Dylan, you've been getting a lot of cool stuff. I loved everything you showed today. That jacket, though, looked warm.

Very nice set up, winter camping is calming. Hearing the fire, good food and peaceful. All you need now is a good dog! Like the video.

Put a hand warmer in with the butane canisters
Good idea Jeb.
Great idea, Jeb! I just might have to try that out, thank you!
I thought hand warmers needed oxygen to work.
I like how you set up your butane coffee maker next to your trucks gas filler, probably not the best place!
Maybe not. Next time, I'll try it with the gas cap open, haha!
@@DylanDelongcan you make a coffee maker gas cap that would be super convenient

Only thing better than pancakes and bacon for dinner is that hoody Dylan! 😂 I’m still watching but I hope you tell us where it’s from lol
Hey Lance! Haha, Legendary Whitetails is where you can find the hoodie! Thanks for coming along :)
I’m gonna check it out. Another enjoyable vid. Hope you enjoyed the time.
So glad you enjoyed it!!
Man, You need a Jackery Battery Generator. Plug in a Electric Blanket, nice and Warm. It draws very little power! Merry Christmas. 🌲
I've used the electric blankets and they are pretty warm! Merry Christmas! :)
