Hey man, the knobs are colour coded, you have put the grey fader knob on your volume and the white volume knob you were putting on the fader

Thanks for the tip, the instruction manual left a little to be desired 🤣

If you have any Lego laying around one of the circular 1x1 bricks fits much better than the knob and it looks almost identical. It’s just a little smaller. I ended up putting one of those on mine and it actually kind of solves the fader problem. It’s tall enough that even when it’s pressed all the way down it doesn’t push the fader stem down. I hope all this makes sense. I know a lot about Lego and I’m trying to type it so it makes sense to someone who might not.

Yup makes perfect sense unfortunately I just moved a month ago and I know I specifically got rid of the one little Lego set I had :(

The other way is to install it is when it's at the very TOP or very BOTTOM. I'm told that was a way to avoid damage. Mine is shipping That's what I'll do. Maybe someone will sell a better cap online, like you mentioned. I guess all you need is a 3D printer for that......

Damn sorry to hear that bro :/ I got a new vid coming out and trust there’s even MORE issues beyond just the fader and speaker, they really dropped an unfinished product in my opinion.

Make sure to update your firmware. But what’s interesting is that the fader problem isn’t putting on the cap. Mine was broken out of the box. What you might want to mention is the power switch takes a ton of muscle to switch and is definitely not normal. I’m a strong guy and I can’t turn it on with one hand. I have to press on the machine and pull the switch HARD. Also if you put weight on the machine, the fader numbers start going bonkers as if it’s a weight scale. The fader does absolutely nothing and is stuck on 50 but keeps glitching up and down. Only way to change the fader is to press down hard on it and to never let go. Crazy.

The fader just has a bad connection with the circuit as the fader's metal pins are bent. They can be bent back to normal pretty easily if you're willing to open your unit up and de-solder the fader from the board. There's a guide on TH-cam on how to do it. Of course it will void your warranty, so don't try it if you're not confident with electronic internals. @@CharleyHale
