yeah i did do that in the end .. cheers.all sorted thanks . i should have shown it in video ... thanks for the advice . i need all the help i can , learning all the time. atb . Terry
Thats why i put the tek bolts in, but most people just glue them in.. The glue i used is very strong, and i still felt the need to screw it down...Just for extra safety.
its very strong but not level so i have to drive onto ramps to level it if i go away . a good pair of steps needed . this twin wheeler is 6.5 ton so class c1 licence required, unless you passed the driving test in 1996 or earlier then your ok. But yes its a good base vehicle.
I've got a 70C17, worth adding they're restricted to 56mph and the gear ratios are pretty short (as they're capable of moving that tonnage). Empty, you can pull off in 2nd without issue. Because of those gear ratios, i'll see figures (again empty) from 11mpg to 26mpg (flat no headwind). I'd recommend other vans, especially boxier with a fairly wide body - if you can get the length of the bed in width ways that would be a bonus - the iveco van taper quite alot towards the top, the 50C might be better for being level but certainly the more weight they can take the higher the rear suspension goes. Depending on your layout those arches internally can become more of an issue.
@@He110World all correct except the milage for me . you can easy pull away in second. but i get the higher figure in milage easy. but mines the 65 c 15 .. less horse power so that might be why . i might attempt to remove the speed restriction . i,v heard that taking out the taco sometimes works.
@@VANFLIPPINGTASTIC fair enough, I thought about removing the tacho but for me less than you I don;t think my mpg figures would head in the right direction :/
it works a treat mate . i run the diesel heater watch tv and have 12 volt lights and thats all its used for to be honest . it keeps the battery topped up just nicely..
Hi mate hope you keep well what size wire did u use from controler to battery maté just av bort 170 watt eco worthy just didn’t come with control to battery cables and Un sure what size to use thanks
Great install it a good addition for peace of mind knowing you can top up you battery 👍🏻
Yeah and it hasn,t blown of either . Been out down the motorway and all is good😃
Another good one Terry. It's good to see that van coming along 👍☺
thabks gaz still a long way to go
Hey man! I’m working on my Iveco right now! Love the video and the way you solving problems!! 👍
Thanks for watching ..
Super vidéo merci l'ami
thank you David
Why didn't you install a DP switch between the solar panel and charge controller? You could then isolate the panel if you needed to work on anything.
good point .. might slip one in there.
Hey great video, I have the same uneven rood surface on my Iveco. Is this roof plastic by the way? Thanks
The roof is made from metal...
Cheers..
You could have just taken the MC4 connectors off and passed the wires through the watertight grommets. Easy enough to put them back on inside the van.
yeah i did do that in the end ..

Love the stance of the iveco twin wheeler would you recommend them as a base vehicle?

@@VANFLIPPINGTASTIC cheers I guess the license is the reason they seem cheaper, not a problem for me though
