A man who has just lost his mother, a man who has assumed the heavy mantle of monarch and a man who has had to do that in full view of the entire world with the calm dignity that the role requires. For most in Britain the shock and grief were palpable and for many the loss of the Queen represented or reflected the loss of a family member because she was a constant in their lives. The beauty of monarchy is its continuity and stability over and above political turmoil and global upheaval. It provides a focus for national unity in times of crisis and celebration and projects an image of our nation to the wider world. It sets a tone of what it is to be British. The reign of Queen Elizabeth II will be defined as an era in the long history of the United Kingdom and she will stand very tall amongst the ranks of her predecessors. Thank you Connor for your impassioned response to this moving video. Your British roots are showing.
Thankyou Connor. A heartfelt and passionate declaration of love and support to a nation only to used to hiding their national pride when it should be shouted from the roof tops. And thankyou for your respect and admiration for a beloved sovereign.

Thank you so much, your words about our country, sometimes people need reminding. I watched both videos back to back, I can’t see the screen now, my eyes are filled with tears. What a wonderful compilation. A very moving hymn, it’s played at many funerals in this country. As others have said many of us learnt it at school. It comes from Holst’s Jupiter from The Planet Suite.
Thank you Connor, you are a great soul. That was really hard to watch, crying my eyes out now, but what you said, you are never worried about us, that's a take I needed to hear, something we maybe all need to hear in this country rn because there's precious little to be proud of or believe in. But maybe just maybe you're right and we'll be ok 🙏🧡
Thank you Connor, that was a very moving video and your words were inspirational. I am tired of those in this country who run us down, some of whom were never born here. It's heartening to hear someone being positive about the UK ❤
By the way , your reaction @ 8.00 or so...... You show soooo much respect... it touches me as a Dutch guy, I always respected HM Queen Elisibeth II, she was a powerfull and determined Lady with a job to do right by the Brits..... It was a hard job but to me she pulled it off even when things went sour in her realm.
Thank you for your sensitive reaction to this very emotional video. I think you are an honorary Brit! Just in case they made it look too easy - the casket those soldiers are carrying, with Her Majesty inside, is lined with lead. The total weight of it is estimated to be between 550lbs and 700lbs. It was made for her over 30 years ago, from English oak. The soldiers who carried it will have shown signs of injury to their shoulders for several days afterward - and yet they didn't wince or show discomfort at the time. It was a huge honour to be chosen and they were recognised with the award of the silver Royal Victoria Medal for their service for the Royal family. (they were Grenadier Guardsmen, only recently home from a tour of duty in Iraq)
What lovely comments … so refreshing to hear someone making positive remarks about the UK 🇬🇧 thank you. Our dear late Queen Elizabeth was irreplaceable and we miss her very much. The reign of Queen Elizabeth II will be defined as an era in the long history of the United Kingdom and she will stand very tall amongst the ranks of her predecessors.
Thank you Connor for your impassioned response to this moving video. Your British roots are showing.
Thank you very much for all your kind words and the respect you have show for our beautiful country .God bless ❤
Thankyou Connor. A heartfelt and passionate declaration of love and support to a nation only to used to hiding their national pride when it should be shouted from the roof tops. And thankyou for your respect and admiration for a beloved sovereign.
I miss her now and i always will.
She was my Queen and so proud of her.
Thank you for your lovely kind words
Thank you so much young man..I am from England. I am 80yrs.That means a lot.
Thank you for what you said, it obviously came from the heart. She was very special and is still greatly missed. And yes, that music is so touching and powerful. I am from Scotland, in the UK and I thank you.
This song always makes me tear up and I am Welsh …………but when you add that footage to it , I am crying as much as I did when I sat alone watching her state funeral from start to finish .
My heartfelt thanks to you Connor for your kind words and I will from now , make an annual pilgrimage to this channel on this platform , on September 8th because our beloved Queen Elizabeth deserves it and you deserve thanks for your true friendship to us ……bless you love and YES , our Queen was there masked and alone for Her Philip, “ Her strength and stay “.❤
Thank you Connor, she was the country's Grandma and we still miss her....I wish more people of your generation and below in our country felt the same way...
Your words made me cry & made me feel so good. I thought of those who I loved who passed who did my country proud. You are wise beyond your years & you are appreciated! I thank you. You have a wonderful soul & I wish good health & rich blessings, Sir!
Beautifully said Connor. The lone piper at the end of the ceremony leaving the chapel brought closure for many and was superbly done.
I’m in tears again! 😢😢😢. Thank you, Conner❤
Thank you Connor, for being so respectful to our beloved late Queen Elizabeth II. Your are a great young man. 🙏❤️🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴& Northern island
Bless you Connor, and thank you for your truly kind words. Queen Elizabeth ll was so loved, and is so missed. She was our rock, and her passing has left such a void in our country, I don't think that will ever be filled. I am so so proud to be British, I love my country. Thank you again, you are an insightful and lovely young man..
Conor, have been a fan of yours for a good while, thank you for your words rightfully defending my country. Good Man! Regards and respect to you, Mike.
Thank you for your kindness towards our Queen and our Country. 🙏🌹🇬🇧
I’m proud to be English and British. I was also immensely proud of our Queen Elizabeth and the image of her seated alone and masked at Prince Philip’s funeral still gets to me.
Thank you Connor, you’re a good man! You also have a great country 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 and as you’ve said before, past a certain point in time our history is basically yours too
The more I watch your videos, the more I think that you are a man of feeling and sensitivity. Thank you.
I am incredibly proud to be British and I so loved our Queen, it still makes me cry. I am also left wing politically, no one can take away the way I feel or shame me into feeling a different way… so there….love to all thank you Connor.😻🙏❤️
thankyou so much for your kind words they mean so much
Such a sensitive, thoughtful guy Connor and your words are very much appreciated!
My favourite photo of the Queen was the one where she was standing in front of the fireplace holding a walking stick and her handbag and as usual had a wonderful smile on her face. not long after this she passed away. She was a wonderful Queen that was well loved.
Greatfull thanks for your compassionate words and showing our much missed Queen's funeral. Respect to you from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
Thankyou. An unusual review from an American. A truly respectfull silence until the end.
Thank you so much for those lovely words. It means so much to us. God Bless you
Thank you Connor, that was a very moving video and your words were inspirational. I am tired of those in this country who run us down, some of whom were never born here. It's heartening to hear someone being positive about the UK ❤
Thank you for kind words Connor, I was deeply touched..
Lovely comments. Thank you, Connor. You still need to listen to 'I Vow to Thee My Country' with words sung. 💖💖
Such kind words. Thank you
Thank you for your sensitive reaction to this very emotional video.
You are so kind and understanding towards Britain. We really do appreciate your sincerity and your share in our quiet pride.
Thank you.
What lovely comments … so refreshing to hear someone making positive remarks about the UK 🇬🇧 thank you.
Our dear late Queen Elizabeth was irreplaceable and we miss her very much. I am very proud to be English and love my country. Love the USA too🇺🇸 been fortunate to have visited many times. Thank you again for reminding us of how great we are!
