Geez, GDG airport has come a long way, I was there once back in the 80’s and it was a dump, filthy terminals, rubbish all over the terminal floors, crowded barely any duty free. Was there again in the 2000’s and there still wasn’t much improvement and again in 2015 and there was a transformation but this now looks heaps better.

Essentially yes, just at the airport the tax is already taken off and in Paris if you have a non EU passport you get the VAT tax back once you leave the country at the airport 💗
