As much as I would love that, Mojang really need to focus on the rest of the promised features like the rest of the biomes, the scraped combat system, and more first.
First of all, let me say that I appreciate the effort and creativity that went into designing these new mobs. I think they are all great additions to the Minecraft world, and I would love to see them in the game someday. However, I also think that the mob vote 2023 is unfair and unnecessary. Why? Because it forces us to choose only one of them, and leave the other two behind. This means that we will miss out on two amazing mobs that could have enriched our gameplay experience and added more diversity and challenge to our adventures. How can we possibly decide which one is better than the other, when they are all equally awesome? Secondly, I think that the mob vote 2023 is divisive and harmful to our community. Instead of celebrating our shared passion and love for Minecraft, we are arguing and fighting over which mob is more worthy of our vote. We are forming factions and alliances based on our preferences, and we are insulting and attacking those who disagree with us. We are forgetting that we are all part of the same team, and that we all want what is best for Minecraft. The mob vote 2023 is tearing us apart, instead of bringing us together. Thirdly, I think that the mob vote 2023 is unnecessary and redundant. Why do we need to vote for a new mob, when we already have so many existing mobs that need improvement and attention? There are many mobs that are outdated, underpowered, or irrelevant in the current game. There are many mobs that have bugs, glitches, or inconsistencies in their behavior. There are many mobs that could use some new features, animations, or sounds to make them more interesting and realistic. Why don’t we focus on fixing and enhancing these mobs first, before adding new ones? Why don’t we let the developers decide what mobs they want to work on, based on their vision and expertise? Therefore, I urge you to join me in ending the mob vote 2023. Let’s not waste our time and energy on a pointless and harmful competition. Let’s not limit ourselves to one option, when we can have them all. Let’s not divide our community, when we can unite it. Let’s not vote for a new mob, when we can improve the old ones. I have a theory that could explain why tamed foxes don't attack zombie villagers: The reason I could think of explaining why tamed foxes don't zombie villagers is because they could possibly understand that the villager is still in there (and can be saved) and foxes already have a relationship with villagers since they go to the villages. Maybe the fox can sense that the villager can be saved. (with proper equipment but it's not going to know that) BUT HEY! That's just a theory! A GAME THEORY!!!

I think the beaches and desert Oasis would be a nice update. Like palm tress would be a nice place to start, theyd have coconuts that can be used for a one time drink or to plant more palm trees, they'd only grow in sand like cactus, than, if used as a drink, they turn into bowls or something like that.

All the different update ideas are cool and all, but if we dont get an inventory update, and they keep adding 50+ new items every update, we're going to have some problems
Did you forget about camels, archeology, trail ruins, cherry biome, armor trims as a whole, temple redesign, + other stuff. Not only is that already a lot, but for as much effort as they put into the development process, that's an absurd amount. Plus they tend to have larger updates on the backburner, as shown with the nether update being in the works for years while being developed alongside legends.

Yeah, as far as I’ve seen everything about the movie is gonna be live action. I think they have a Steve actor? Either gonna be Jason Momoa or Pedro Pascal.
What I would really like for an update is a "maintanence" update. Basically doing some of the stuff that was left behind, e.g. the birch biome update or adding mobs that got voted out, overhauling some mob mechanics (the phantom), adding functionality to some mobs that have none, etc.. Also overhauling the inventory and such things.
That's what they said the last update was... Yet they failed to address the majority of issues. They couldn't even do something as simple as speed up minecarts or make wandering traders useful.
Not only is an end update necessary, but Mojang could just take inspiration from dungeons. They have an updated (and pretty cool!) looking end already.
i want jungle skeletons and zombies, frozen zombies and frozen creepers in their respective biomes, dungeon already has those! 😊And maybe make sand farmable without the end portal glitch(make husk drop sand?), because i get it its just a block a little rarer than dirt, but it has way more useqs and making it farmable would make sense.

When you are in the storm you will get enderpoison: Enderpoison is a poison where you would endermans around you. They attack you one by one until your dead. When the enderpoison stopped because your out of the storm the endermans around you will die. And not to forget! Tons and tons of ne biomes. To make the end less boring!

as the camera zoomed in on the ancient city scene, I 100% expected the portal to light up then immediately cut away. It genuinely sent a chill down my spine. Goosebumps on my skin. The reveal that it was just the warden was alright, but that mixed with the portal being in the background of the text bit makes me think we might get some news on it. That is, if the clues were intentionally put there by element animation assuming they've been told info about the update. I don't know whether they get that or not.

That sums it up pretty well. The 1.20 content was great, but it feels like both 1.19 and 1.20 were minor updates that we would usually get on top of a major one (like the 1.15 update for example), despite being advertised/treated as the big main update of the year. My hope is that Mojang deliberately chose to keep the latest updates small so they could already prepare for the next huge update (the end update, obviously) in the background...

@@-Shinro- the devs said in the past that they dont plan on adding any new dimensions until the ones we have get updated. The Overworld pretty much gets updated all the time, but 1.18 can be considered its 'dimension update' Nether, we got it already in 1.16. But the End is still lacking.

Did you forget about camels, archeology, trail ruins, cherry biome, armor trims as a whole, temple redesign, + other stuff. Not only is that already a lot, but for as much effort as they put into the development process, that's an absurd amount. Plus they tend to have larger updates on the backburner, as shown with the nether update being in the works for years while being developed alongside legends.

I love how full of life these animations are! It gives the blank stares of the defaults so much personality! I want a series where it’s straight up misadventures of the default skins, that would be really fun
if this is not how the minecraft movie looks i will be sad. the main charictures could be the default skins, it could be done with a simular approach to the lego movie, where ate the end you hear the full story and see the gamers irl, who could look like the defalt skins in real life to :) and it could be a beautiful movie tbh

Yeah, as far as I’ve seen everything about the movie is gonna be live action. I think they have a Steve actor? Either gonna be Jason Momoa or Pedro Pascal.
What I would really like for an update is a "maintanence" update. Basically doing some of the stuff that was left behind, e.g. the birch biome update or adding mobs that got voted out, overhauling some mob mechanics (the phantom), adding functionality to some mobs that have none, etc.. Also overhauling the inventory and such things.
But that’s offensive to frogs
That's what they said the last update was... Yet they failed to address the majority of issues. They couldn't even do something as simple as speed up minecarts or make wandering traders useful.

Not only is an end update necessary, but Mojang could just take inspiration from dungeons. They have an updated (and pretty cool!) looking end already.
i want jungle skeletons and zombies, frozen zombies and frozen creepers in their respective biomes, dungeon already has those! 😊And maybe make sand farmable without the end portal glitch(make husk drop sand?), because i get it its just a block a little rarer than dirt, but it has way more useqs and making it farmable would make sense.

Hope there’s actually some hype features and an update title this year, we need something like a new dimension or an end update to get the community hype like they did back in 2017-2020. I love Mojang and can’t wait for Minecraft live 2023🙏🏻

@@IrisThatOneGothMf yeah stuff like the netherite upgrade templates and the villager changes are not just neutral changes like archaeology and camels(which aren’t great but still do add something) they straight up make the game slower and more grindy with literally nothing new to make the changes/features interesting.

I’d rather have a hype announcement video where some ideas get postponed then the absolute let down we had last year with hangable signs, camels, new wood, and new bookshelves being the only thing we got after waiting a whole year

They also brought more features while the snapshots were coming out, but if they brought back showing 40-50 features that weren't even finished and just concept art... then people like YOU would've complained.

Out of the end storm meteorites can come out. When you are in the storm you will get enderpoison: Enderpoison is a poison where you would endermans around you. They attack you one by one until your dead. When the enderpoison stopped because your out of the storm the endermans around you will die.
And not to forget! Tons and tons of ne biomes. To make the end less boring!

So this is what element animation has been doing inside of uploading
Mojang: "Let's add a single mob that does absolutely nothing to improve the game." "Not only that, let's do it only ONCE A YEAR!" Mod makers can make Minecraft mobs, bosses, and texture packs combined within a single day, this makes me think that Mojang has a single developer working on the game 30 minutes a month. You have more difficult games to code like No Man's Sky who by the way makes less money than Mojang, but they throw out game changing updates almost every other month. I quit Minecraft after 6 years of playing because it just feels like the community cares about it more than the actual developers of the game.
It would be awesome if mojang would do a redesign of the end right now it’s really boring and could use some spice

as the camera zoomed in on the ancient city scene, I 100% expected the portal to light up then immediately cut away. It genuinely sent a chill down my spine. Goosebumps on my skin. The reveal that it was just the warden was alright, but that mixed with the portal being in the background of the text bit makes me think we might get some news on it. That is, if the clues were intentionally put there by element animation assuming they've been told info about the update. I don't know whether they get that or not.
If it’s an end update I wouldn’t be surprised if they replaced the existing end portal with the ancient city one

-Make those biomes have at least 10 unique blocks each!
-Make it so if you were to spawn there, you could beat the game from there Just like how in the nether, you can get wood, stone, and other recourses and eventually get to the overworld and beat the game from there. (It would make great YT content)
-Make It BIIIIIGGGG
-Add at least 5 new structures
-At least 10 unique mobs
-IMPROVED END TERRAIN GENERATION
-Make obsidian pillars less boring
-Make ender dragon look cool and maybe glow?
-Make the ender dragon more of a challenge and have more mechanics not just attack and fireball and not just wait for it to perch and then land a few hits
-Improve the end's sky to make it look like outer space
-Improve bows
-At least 6 new ores
-END CAVE GENERATION!!!
-At least 2 new mini bosses
-Improve end spawn platform, Bedrock fountain in the middle of the end, end gateways.
-New soul system where every mob has a 15% chance to drop a soul, and those souls can be used to trade with mystery merchants or upgrade end gear.

-Get rewarded with a cookie in your inventory when you beat the game :)

- New End Biomes and items!
- New dimension?
- New undead enemy!
- New overworld structure in jungles/swamps!

Hopefully this update will be worth the wait, 1.20 was alright, but I expected more
That sums it up pretty well. The 1.20 content was great, but it feels like both 1.19 and 1.20 were minor updates that we would usually get on top of a major one (like the 1.15 update for example), despite being advertised/treated as the big main update of the year.
My hope is that Mojang deliberately chose to keep the latest updates small so they could already prepare for the next huge update (the end update, obviously) in the background...

@@cerostymc facts, the end really needs an update, if there not doing an end update, they have to do a new dimension or actually revamp an outdated biome or 2 rather than just adding like one mob and calling it a revamp

The Overworld pretty much gets updated all the time, but 1.18 can be considered its 'dimension update'
Nether, we got it already in 1.16.
But the End is still lacking.
