the only players "removing or kicking" cheaters from a game have been the hacking high-profile streamers using their 3rd party ban/kick tool live on stream... the reason for the most recent patches to the game was to remedy this.
Twitch is instrumental in running an "unchecked monopoly" for the promotional gaming industry. Activision is complicit as they "whitelist" the high-profile streamers so they can not get banned. The only way for a high profile streamer to get banned is by having "bad politics" or bad "public relations" as those things relate to marketability. As for streamers cheating, Twitch obviously as done A/B testing to see what group their target audience would rather like to watch and clearly in most scenarios they preferred to watch a cheating streamer over a legit pro - even if they knew or were told the streamer was cheating.

I speculated they were using AI as a form of detection a little over a year ago. The playerbase was mad at how they seemingly let people get away with cheating, but I also speculated it was for data collection and for the AI to learn what the behavior of cheaters are like. You can't feed the AI data if you ban the cheaters immediately. It actually helps to allow them to think they could get away with it indefinitely. Those who hide their cheats really well aren't undetected either. Those people are crucial for the data collection and making the AI just that much better. Again, I speculated all of this over a year ago and this confirms that I was right on some points made here. Things are still going to suck for a little while. They are still going to let people get away with it for reasons mentioned. It will seem as if they are losing the war to hackers, but I have reason to believe things will get better.
Bring back dedicated servers and let admins handle cheaters. If they really cared about cheating then they would shutdown the Discord servers and website providing the hacks.

You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory. Nothing was risked and nothing was gained. It's sad that you don't know the difference.

I completed the campaign on veteran in 12 hours. ADHD hyperfocus can do that to you. Also, I’m scared of being falsely flagged in MP.

How about people logging into earlier time zones and playing the game head of it's official release for their region? And this guy has no clue on the state of cheating in games like CoD.
People have to cheat because they are no good at the game and what's sad is they will boast and say they are one of the best COD gamers. Hell, even a bad player who plays straight up without any cheats is better than these clowns who cheat.
