- This is a variant on the popular and effective Duracell Nymph. Buggy squirrel makes for a great soft hackle effect.

Cheech, your work is always clean and neat. We’ve talked several times on FB, glad to see you over here with lots of videos.
Thanks boss!
I have been fishing this variation for the past couple months. It is my go to nymph right now. Sz 16 with a 2.8mm bead has been treated me well here in Pennsylvania.
Nice tie Cheech! I use a squirrel dubbing brush for the thorax on many of my nymphs and frequently as a collar on my soft hackles flies. What I do differently is that I cut the fur directly from the hide so that the guard hairs are nicely oriented and I can easily adjust the amount of under underfur I leave in the brush. Cheers! Hank
This is awesome. I've got plenty o' squirrel but no CDC. Thanks tons for the tyin.
Love this. Could you guys please do another video on the regular Duracell? The first one doesn't even use a slotted bead or lead
Appreciate if you would update the recipe on your website to include the red wire, was it small, medium or brassie. Gracias
Search=loon&Submit=
