Nice car! ...but for anyone buying auction cars It's also wise to know the reason why the car has been in the yard for long get your independent mechanic to check it thoroughly otherwise you might buy a car at a 'good deal' and end up spending sooo much in fixing the stuff you overlooked or thought it wasn't a big deal

For this kind of buying, I would recommend having someone who really knows about cars, or is in the business of flipping cars. With the knowledge or even mechanic. This particular type of buying ain't for everyone

This is great content, i read some comments but not all 100+. I'd ask if you can also in the description of the video list out what dealers or auction yards you went to, some viewers here would get value to have places to look. Also to reiterate a bit of color on the Issue with the car and the cost and duration for restoration. It would be good to know what the process was for you to get it to being road going other than just the car wash. No new video needed even a comment on here with some details on that would help.

what's the name of the auction yard you got it from? maybe you can share a list of auction yards
Was the German machine driveable? I'm just wondering how much it costed to repair the dents on the body and any mechanical issues that it might have had (since it was towed on a flatbed truck). You didn't mention where you got the Merc from also

Yah I really needed this information too. But I think if it required around 250k and below to put it on the road then it was still a very good deal.

Yard cars On a deal thought a friend a good lesson. Bought at 260k, repaired at 400k..
Benz is my favorite, by God's Grace I have owned 4 of them. So will be looking for one, C class most preferably.

Very interesting, but please do a follow up video on how the car is working now and if it had any hidden issues... Also do a thorough step by step from stage of auction to registration, that would be informative for many especially against fraudsters

Wow, that's a very good deal. I was looking for that exact model of Mercedes. If you are into business you can resell it for 1.2 million, make huge profit then find another one and repeat the process (buy auction car, fix it, and resell).
That's the whole point of looking for these cars. Hopefully I get to showcase more that I get on a deal
Mercedes Benz have very low resale value.I suspect that car has issues..

I guess it's the perception. I know people who have used auction cars for years without any issues. But auction cars, you know why they are being auctioned. Be it bank loans, company cars that have been used for a particular period of time etc.

Good video….about the car you should have consulted more because European cars could cost you a arm and a leg to repair. There is a reason why second hand European cars are sold cheaply. Another sh450k may not be enough to repair that car.
