      @@darealchris6213 Nice! That’s the important stuff. I’m doing lowering springs and C5 wheels on mine now and just going to enjoy it for the Summer and then over the winter I’ll probably completely go over it.

    Nice car, I bought this red one 31 years ago, a pre production special order, I still like this car as much as I did the day I brought it home, I still looks as good also, better actually, these are very well built cars.

      Wait you still have a 93 Camaro that you bought brand new?????????

      @@teddydiesel Yes, we ordered this car as a pre production special order for road racing, we ordered it several months before they went into production, Brock Yates helped us work with GM to get this car produced and delivered to me in time for the event, we had it already entered into the Cannonball One Lap of America, an event we competed in many times, we got the car 4 days before the Cannonball started, it was 4 days old when it hit Michigan International Speedway, the main hold up was the Borg Warner T56 6 speed was not available yet, GM offered it to me with a German 5 speed Getrag trans, they are junk, I refused it, so GM with help from Brock got a 6 speed in my car and got it out, one of the first Gen 4 Z28's to roll off the line to the general public with the Borg Warner T56.
      Fast forward to today, the car has 221 thousand miles on it, mostly road course racing I retired it from racing last year, a wicked a** street machine now, AC and all, I bought a wrecked 93 and built an all out racecar, got it all dialed in last summer, I built identical LT1 383's for both cars, producing 640 lb/ft of torque on the engine dyno, these cars never got the credit they deserve for some reason, I believe one of the best cars ever produced.

      @@teddydiesel Ya know, I gave you a really nice response to your question and Google chose to trash it, Google/TH-cam is so corrupt, I explained how this is a one of kind special order car, and how I got it before they went into production, but anyway yes, it was one of the first gen 4 Z28's to roll off the line to the general public with the Borg Warner T56 6 speed.

      @@user-Dr. They’re literally the worst. That’s insane tho I would keep that car forever. I wish I had the chance to buy one of these cars new back then. All the cool new cars these days are unaffordable.

    I was hoping that was an LS car, but L98 is still pretty nice.. It shouldn’t be any faster than a 4.6 PI engine though.. The 99-04 Mustangs edge these tuned port 5.7s out a bit.. Maybe it’s got some unknown mods besides the hood..

      For what people want for LS 4th gens you could buy a 5th gen or S197 lol. Idk that new edge I just had was a turd. My boy had a 94 302 car cammed n done up that I drove and I feel like this car has just as much power as that one did.

      @@teddydieselyou got to wring the power out of a 2v it’s not on tap down low but after 3k rpm’s they move out pretty well.. it’s definitely a different set up that takes some work to get right.. But yea maybe it was a turd, the centennial’s are rare though, unfortunately someone didn’t appreciate that car..

    Hey Teddy, how does that ram air work to not ram in water?

    • @teddydiesel
      @teddydiesel  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I worried about that too tbh. It has mesh on it and I don’t think enough water would get in there to soak through the filter and actually get into the engine. Plus I don’t plan on driving it in the rain or anything unless I get stuck.

      I've been around these cars since the beginning, and I have never known this to be problem on the SS Camaro, the after market, or on the Firebirds, they must have thought it through.

      @@user-Dr. Yeah I think they’re aero dynamic enough that it goes right over top of the hood.
