Russell forgetting to put on his tie whilst aggressively giving advice as the same vibe as that clip of a guy saying "oh, my anarchy symbol" once it fell.
Wasn't that shot illegal though? Didn't he step over the line? He was supposed to be behind the wooden thing, wasn't he? But his foot and arm were in front of it.
I dont really think the show intends to be taken _that_ seriously. Im sure at some point in production they realised what happened to Joe, and knowing his stage persona, he probably went along with the scandal cause it makes for better viewing We all saw what he did with that potato - and you can disqualify whatever you want, but we still experienced a little bit of magic, that day.

aww Russell. He used to be so funny but of late his comedy is so diluted by political correctness and things like adding his mum into the mix, it's just sad. He's gone from really funny comedian to nice guy everyone still likes because of his previous work.
Have you ever seen him on Mock the Week uncut? Hes insufferable. He just rambles and rambles until something he says gets a chuckle. Meanwhile most the comedians around him get a laugh with nearly every line they say (excluding the odd failure of a comedian). I havent liked him since then, and the PC nonsense has drove me to dislike him even more
Love the series trouble is I find Russell Howard not only annoying but truly forgettable, and of little or no amusement or any form of entertainment value... really covid is more amusing and certainly more entertaining... that said Little Alex Horne and the GREAT Greg Davies shine as always.

Alex trying not to laugh at him standing in that box sawing and yelling was class hahaha

I really hated that for Joe.
It depends. I think it was a legal bowl, he was behind the stump, which were the rules of the task. However I agree that Joe was robbed of that throw.
